Title: The Passion of The Christ

First off, I just want to say that this film is an amazing work of art. It’s unlike any other film based on the life of Christ. What makes it so distinct from the rest is that it takes place in the last seven, and most influential, hours in Christ’s life.

In all honesty this movie isn’t just for the Christian community. Whether you believe in Christ’s deity or not, this film will impact you in some way shape or form. It’s a really nice vacation from the ‘comic book based’ film age that were going through at this point.

I know we’ve all heard, in some way, the story of Christ’s death. But this film brings it into a whole new light; it’s so graphic that it’s almost unbelievable that a body could withstand such treatment. Another thing that adds to the realism is the Aramaic language that it’s performed in … it makes you feel as if you are right there. (And don’t worry, the subtitles don’t get as annoying as you may think)

So basically, maybe catch a trailer for the movie first, and then go see it, even if you don’t feel like you would enjoy it. I can grantee that you’ll at least leave the theatre and be surprised at how good it actually was.

Well i watched this last night, and your right in saying that it will have some sort of impact on people/me. It was one of those films that makes you just want to really pay attention to. There was some gore in it that may make a few people squeemish but yeah its a good story and a sad one at that. I really did enjoy it. So i do recommend this to people if you thinking of going to watch it.

I'm a christian and I don't know what to think of it...
This movie is just about the physical pain of Jesus, but I think Jesus had more mental pain, because God left Him.
And He died because of our sins...
But this sort of things you cannot show in a movie, because it is inside Jesus mind...
I dunno if I say these things in the right English words, but I'm from Holland, so don't shoot me... :P :D

god dindn't leave him

well the thing is, Christ took upon himself the sin of humanity at the time of his death, and God can't look at sin, so he was forced to turn his back on Christ. That's why he said 'My God my God, why has thou forsaken me?'

Yeah. That bits actually quite sad.
