Hey all I have tried GTA III and GTA Vice City and I loved both.
I have heard about this game and i was just wondering if anyone knew
the release date of this game???

I certainly hope that there will be cooler cars and faster and a longer game(not that Vice was short but) :) :) :) :)

Some where at the end of this year most likely to be October.

I think that there will be some people from Gta3 and Vice init and I also think that there will be more bikes and choppers and It will have something better with it as Rockstar have spent 2 years on this one

They should have swimming. You know, you have to keep pressing a button continuously and rapidly to stay afloat, and you have an 02 meter, etc.
My idea is to have a sort of Shenmue thing where you can talk to anyone on the streets.
Another idea is to have detailed interiors of every building.
Also, a branching storyline, like True Crime.
Also, a seatbelt addition to the cars, where you have to hold down a button and you'll put on a seatbelt, which will keep you from being sent through the windshield (*also extra).
Also, you'll receive damage whenever you crash your car, for a greater sense of reality.
Also, a slower clock, to make the days seem more real, and to help enforce the factor of the need for rest (*also extra).

These are all ideas from my head, and I know they are not difficult to include in the game. I've seen how these guys work.

Cool more bikes and choppers. I really liked the PCJ 600 in Vice City it was just fast.

I am looking forward when this is released, though i live in Norway(Ali is a movie with Will SMith it was made in 2001 and we get it in norway now. What a crap country we live in) :(

Well, its no big surprise to fans of the series, as San Andreas was the last island from GTA1 not explored in 3D yet. It will be a PS2 exclusive, and will be released October 19, 2004. in America and In EUROPE

Man, they always take their sweet-ass time putting it on PC. I didn't see a release date or even a TBA for PC.

Better hand to hand combat
The ability to grab people when the police are after you.
I liked the sub way system if gta 3 I hope they bring it back or have trams going around.
Better interaction with people and cars not dispersing if u goes chase them.
More buildings open like hospitals. The ability to gamble, also if you crash into a building there is at least some damages building
Busier streets, traffic quest, cars speeding police chasing them. If the police are after you, you can pull over and the police can give u a ticket. Better police reaction like they don’t come after shooting you instead they try and calm you down.

If u weren't the only THUG in the game. Like if there had been more criminals in the city. Not only the police are after you that would have been cool. That the police chase other people 2. :)

Wouldnt it be cool if you could drive a cruise ship. :D

I have always wanted a game witha larger map. I have always been disappointed by single-city maps, or games that are based within strict bounds of small divisions of cities. I have wanted a game in which I could travel the world.
I also wanted the ability to use the commercial airlines legally. When I read the instruction booklet for GTA3, and I looked at the "Methods of Travel" section and saw "Plane", I actually thought that you could get a plane to take you someplace automatically.

I also do want the player to be able to interact with objects and the environment more. I'm tired of these things where you get in the subway train and can't move. I'd want the ability to move up and down the subway cars, and the ability to sit down where a seat is available.
In Vice, people stole cars more often, but they were insane. I want to see people go into parking garages and get in the car that THEY ACTUALLY OWN, and drive. I want people with routines, not peds that wander aimlessly. I want a more civilized system of speeding tickets and paying fines and actually serving jailtime, where you have to keep yourself alive in your jail cell and fend off the other prisoners and the "Butch McDicks" that mess you up really bad (I DO NOT WANT CUTSCENES OF THAT!) I want to be able to go and buy stuff. I want to buy cars and boats. I want to buy things like you do in The Sims, but by going to a store, etc.
Yes, that's right. I want a game that simulates life. That's how much of a lazy ass I am.

In the game I love to go to a showroom and look at a car and test drive it and the sales person is in the car and he/she is talking to you and before they know it you kicked them out and stolen the car and driven off.
A clothes shop, yer in vice you had one but the clothes where picked for you. A mall where you can buy stuff from food, clothes and so on. When you are on a motorbike you should be able to wear a helmet. 1 police can’t see that you are so they have to check the licence plate. Then the owner of bike you stole name comes up if they reported the bike stolen or not. I know this probably wont happen. But if you escape and the bike the police search for the owner of the bike and but a reports wanting the owners arrest.

You should be able to go to a bar and get drunk, and thus enter a temporary mode similar to the one that spans the length of the Vice City Phil Cassidy mission, Boomshine Saigon.

Fido was the main character of GTAIII, the person you control throughout the game. Although it was not really clarified his real name he was called that during missions.

That is quite a common question from GTAIII as he never actually speaks throughout the whole thing so it was hard to determine any name but Fido! Sounds like a dog.

I think GTA SAN Andreas is a PS2 exclusive! I think I have read it in a magazine. I am looking so much forward till this game!
