Metal Gear Rex is the hardest boss in the game and harder than every boss in mgs2 and 3 imo.

What do you think.

Metal Gear Rex was easy because all you have to is shoot the Radome and Liquid with stinger missiles :D

Rex was hard the after he killed Grey Fox.

Rex is not harder than facin all of those Rays in MGS2. That was the hardest.

Rex was the easiest final boss in all the MGS games in my opinion, a lot easier than The Boss, and the Rays too. But I haven't yet tried it on Hard or Extreme yet :D:P

it's harder than them two by far but the fight against liquid could have been better

in TTS? i could beat rex with my eyes closed :haha:

But in extreme it is hard and the part after Grey Fox dies it is the hardest. But i thougth all the rays was easy.

MG REX is the hardest MG, even harder than those RAYs, those were incredibly easy even on the hardest difficulties, you noly had to shoot them two or three times in the high pressure cannon, also, if you´d shoot them in the legs you would hurt them too, and in the head too, practically anywhere you hit them, you hurt them, and in the hugh pressure cannon you make a great amount of damage, but it was totally different with REX, you had to hit it in specifically places, and besides if you shoot him i the leg or the head, nothing will happen, much harder than all those RAYs together in my opinion, not because REX is hard, but because all those RAYs are really easy.

It's a damn shame, you can't finish Rex/Liquid with the PSG1, I tried, shot him 6 times but no damage, I'm afraid it has to be done by stinger, it would be a great challange with PSG1 though, its damn hard getting shots on him :P

I finised mgs 2 today on hard and the rays were so easy. i beat them in my first go

Rex in Twin Snakes was easy as hell, sh*t Snake might aswell just walk up to Rex barehanded and say to Liquid "Okay I'll let you have one shot." :lmao: Rex in the original was more dificult but its pretty easy if you have the right stategy. As for the Rays they just keep doing the same thing on easy. But I heard on extreeme you have to face all 25 of them and its hard as hell. Shyne-Byrght I tried the same thing and am p*ssed that you can't kill Liquid with sniper bullets.

All you do is go to the back of the room and hide behind the far left pillar. You have a perect shot and he can do nothing to you, lol.

Yeah, in the original the missiles he shot out you couldn't dodge, you needed cover, but in this all you need to do is run to the side, or do the forward roll and its so easy, he attacks to slowly, as soon as he is done with one attack he stops for a second or two, easily enough time to fire a stinger, surely he cna fire missiles and the machine guns at the same time.

I think Rex is one of the easist fight, probably behind the hand to hand fight with Liquid.
Hardest though...hmm thats a hard one to decided.

I think the fight with liquid in top of the destroyed metal gear is the fairest of them all and the most reall too. it was a sweat swat classic fight of all I can remember. I didn't play it for a long...long time talking years here but it had a real affect on me I only hated the fact that he can dodg my hits when I couldn't dodg his but let us face it most bosses do things you can't in all kind of games which isn't fair and it kind b..h me off. I couldn't believe shooting at him on the top of that jeeb with a f..k off gun and still couldn't beat him with him driving with one hand and shooting with the other it's just creazy if you know what I mean.

Jesus--Liquid Vs Solid hand to hand was a fu**ing cake walk.

I know, I don't think that fight is even supposed to be lost. You can beat it within a minute and lose no health.

WEll yes, but in extreme it´s kinda challenging, first when you fall you don´t hold yourself from REX, you just fall and that´s it, you´re dead, game over. Also, Liquid is faster in extreme and he is really really strong, he makes much more damage than Snake.

If you die, does the avant title just come up like always, or does it have a cut scene like when you are caugt in the tanker by the marines in MGS2?

WEll i don´t know if in TTS there´s a cutscene, but in MGS1 you just die, and if the bomb explodes you hear Liquid laughing.

comparing with RAY and the shagohod .. REX was much harder ..
