OK, perhaps this shouldn't really be posted in here, but I think that this forum needs an anime section. What do you think?

i like anime, even though some may say it's not really artwork or soemthing along those lines. it's cool with me because i dont voice how i feel about their taste but yeah. it's cool i like Ghost in the shell and hellsing a whole low, and cowboy bebop. :thumb: . i tried to get into get backers but the relation between the two gys were a lil confusing to me :(

What do you mean? They are good friends and work together. what's confusing in that?

Just finished watchin GetBackers yesterday =D I liked it, it's a very nice anime..the ending was sad =/ I think they should make a continue to it, explaining some things better. And Muikuli, have you read the manga ?

well muil, i think it's because one of my friends told me they were gay or something ever since that (about episode 36) it changed my opinion. i dont know if it's true though.

What is so cool about anime?

I know pokemon and dragon ball z.
But pokemon was old pretty fast. Dragon Ball z was also nice but it became boring at the end.

You have to get something for anime. It can´t be explained, like what we both feel for sadisti.. i mean, MGS.

No really, anime is something else, has a feeling as deep as MGS for me.

Anyone watched Gantz? It´s one of the greatest anime. It just goes to hell with the damn great story, the gore, the cases of murders and suicides, and some other things. If you haven´t seen anime like that then i wouldn´t recommend it, but for the ones that did just watch it, might be a little shocking but it just is one of the best anime ever.

AND HOW THE HELL HAVEN´T I SEEN THIS TOPIC BEFORE!!! xD.

Dude, have you seen the whole thing, it ended so bad. If you really liked the anime then read the manga, in the manga it still continues with more missions after the buddha one.

I'm quite an Otaku and big fan of a lot of anime, but I'm not sure if actually needs a section, I think maybe a sub section in the TV section.

Also if you like gore, get Berserk, but it also ends while the manga continues.

Dude, the fucking spoilers! Only that it hasn´t been much you still said some things about the ending.
Anyway, it´s not only because of the gore, and i hate happy endings, sad and bad endings are great, and they´re always different. Gantz has a damn great story and damn great characters, shows the real side of people, and besides the cases of murderers, suicides, are just so real... it´s awesome in every way.

Sad: Now this is seriously, if you spoil it... i just go to europe and kill j00... for real... then i´d have my fun with your body (for a limited time...)

Well, now I'm watchin Gungrave and I'm loving it =] greatest so far in my opinon. Then I'm gonna watch Hellsing, Berserk, Ghost in the Shell then Gantz.
And about Ban and Ginji..I have a photo that it seems that they have a relationship :S

Ohh yes man it's a good one once u get into it. a very superior type of anime in my opinion, most ppl love it that like anime, i'd recommend it, i think my baby -shal- will to. :king:

im just read the 2nd volume of Full Metal Panic, very good anime

.Element.: Great series you´re planing to watch. Hellsing is awesoem, really a great anime i would recommend it, didn´t watch berserker yet. And Ghost in the shell is one of the greatest anime too. And well Gantz imo is the best of the 4, really great the story and the cases are incredible.

About Ban and Ginji well, they´re just really really good friends but they´re not gays, or have any relationship. Why don´t you guys look at Kazuki and Hubei? Lol, that really seems like a relationship.

FMA is the best anime ever, well after Evangelion of course, but FMA is the best anime of the ones mentioned here, really, maybe it´s a little long but you´ll get addicted like in the second chapter, and that´s pretty early for a 51 episodes serie. (And a movie).
I really recommend you go for FMA.

Hey I saw first 4 episodes of FMA today and they are really good. I'll tell more of my opinion after seeing more episodes, but so far it seems great.

Hmm... Actually only thing that annoys me in 'GB is that annoying Kazuki. He just wings his stupid toystrings and wears girls clothes. :roll: Really uncool char if you ask me.

Now how exactly did I spoil it? All I said was their are more missions after the buddha one unless you're still in the buddha mission, then I suppose I did spoil it.

And FMA, I personally think it's overated, it's cool, but not amazing. My personal fave is The Twelve Kingdoms and Jungle Watsumo Hale Nochi Guu, or Hare+Guu. Has anyone seen and Miyazaki, if you dpn't know who that is, it's the guy who made Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle. They usualy go into theaters.

As weird like Evangelion, Serial Experiment Lain. Also, Rahxephon is like exactly the same as Evangelion besdies the different characters and the plot isn't as strange. In fact, you'll be surpirse by how similar it is, it's as if Rahxephon just copied Evengelion.

Well, I'm a big fan of Ghost In The Shell, but usualy I dislike the live actions. As long as it's weird and very confusing I'll like it.

Serial experiments Lain is damn cool, the plot and story were great, but in no way near Evangelion. And Rahxephon was, as you said, like a copy, but soo lame compared to Evangelion.
I recommend Evangelion over any other anime, just watch it, it´s awesome, the most controversial ever. And i recommend the manga too.

anime was an obsession i had as a child... I still watch a bit today, but I'm really picky. I can't believe none of you even mentioned Slam Dunk. Come ON, it's the best b-ball anime there is!!

The Manga has some things differents. The number of angels for example. I watched the anime firts and read the manga after that.
