I think the bottom left is a little blank, i have the one atom symbol in there i'm not sure if that's enough, but i know i do like it, especialy compared to the other 3, so please criticize me in any way, tell me my stong and week points.

I think that some of the text is hard to read and needs to be in bold or simply change the colour of it. ;)

Regretfully I'm in a worse mood than last time so this won't be too friendly. But ho-ho, while I'm here wasting my time at a computer desk, I may as well drop by to voice my worthless opinion.


I'll start with this. Honestly? It's horrific. Filters don't make things necessarily better, nor does simply colouring something in what can only be described as slime. Snake does not want slime poured all over him, people! It would look better not green to be honest.

Well done on positioning the text correctly, unfortunately it still sucks ass. It's too plain, doesn't have that artistic touch to it at all. I doubt you could pull plain text off on a sig that big anyway...especially since nothing else actually stands out. It's bland, boring.

One image of Snake. One plain text with no shit on it. A bit of transparency thanks to .png. ... AND A BORDER!
Snake is NOT covered in slime, the text isn't even great looking but it's passed off and the border is just a border. But miiine is acceptable. Yours ...is a failure.


I'll lighten up on this. It's not actually that bad if you tidied it up a little. Looking past the delightful trend-whore theme, at least you have a theme! I'm not sure about that odd line which runs down into the bottom middle of the sig ...it ruins it really.

Anyhow, text. You've either made it stand out too much or not enough. Though at least it semi-fits with the sig.

Regardless, it still doesn't have a certain flare to it which makes it a particularly good signature but I'm probably too picky.

BossATruePatriot, what you seem to be doing is just using images of MGS, appliying a few filters, adding your name and calling it a sig. Unfortunately, decent sigs require a little more effort and time than that.

Umm, current one? Text is too rough-looking even with your outer glow. Crosshair looks kinda bad quality too plus it cuts off at the top which looks bad. The background is acceptable but could be heavily improved. I like the snake.

I'd say fix up the font, repair the crosshair, maybe improve on the background if you can too. That or just scrap it and start a new one.

Still, vast improvement ... but you know it needs a border.

No, what program are you using to design?

Photoshop.

Maybe because you're using a scaled down font that's supposed to be larger than at the size you're using it, or the more likely reaosn which is that you are saving it at very low-res .jpg.

Make sure you save it in a nice high version of the .jpg format! :)

Or alternatively, save as PNG.

@Dani: Don't people mainly use the .png format when they make an image and have some of it transparent, in Photoshop or something?

Well, yeah it is used for transperacy, but the PNG format also maintains the exact pixels when you save, meaning no loss of quality.
