Title: POLL SETUPS
Description: Faqs, Comments

I have noticed for too long that people have not understood how to set up polls properly, and have made many mistakes that need to be shown here.

Q: I'm getting an error about "multiple choices" or something. What's wrong?
A: The person who made the poll chose that people had to choose a combination of options, as evidenced by the check boxes rather than the radio AKA circular buttons. To allow for users to chose between one among a certain number, set the option count to one. This setting does not indicate how many choices you can have in the poll.

You are all free to ask more questions here.

Questions about polls??
I think that question you mentioned is the only possible question...

But okay:
Is there a way back? I mean, can I undo the poll? Change it from "multiple choices" to "one choice"?

I think if you edit your post it is possible to edit the poll.

No, I've tried that, but that is not possible.

Hmmmm, Isnt there a button that says edit poll?

You have to have a moderator redo your poll entirely in order for it to be changed from multiple cjoice to single choice. That's why it'd be nice if you set them up correctly the first time.

imo, polls should be disabled for all of the public, for reasons such as this. This, and the fact that some of the polls that can be made by anyone are just rediculous questions.

The right to create polls should be reserved for moderators, admins and ledbys.
