DarkGizmo - November 15, 2006 10:23 AM (GMT)
I really want to get the MGS:DGN but i do not have a PSP and do not plan on getting it, does anyone know if i can get is online anywhere?

AcidSnakeK1 - November 15, 2006 04:00 PM (GMT)
I believe it is PSP only. Sorry Bro

Muikuli - November 15, 2006 04:27 PM (GMT)
I heard that there is a paper version of it, which was released some time before the digital version. I also heard it's much better than the PSP digital version. I don't know where to get the paper version though.

DarkGizmo - November 15, 2006 05:12 PM (GMT)
PSP only that sucks

and yeah i have got the paper version but i just want the DGN so that it has the sound effects and the trendy looking movement :P

MAHooson - November 23, 2006 11:44 AM (GMT)
you prob could get it online, but you shouldn't. Come on support Metal Gear and Kojima Productions!

yeah normally i would but im saving up to get a PS3 so i cant afford to get a PSP right now and to be honest i would only get it for the DGN and MGS:PO, so it would be a waste of £150, i will probablly get one after i get a PS3 hopefully the price will have gone down by then

You can read both Ashley Wood's MGS and MGS 2 Sons of Liberty graphic novel online. But of course, I won't tell you where :)

does anyone read comic books on this board?

the metal gear solid comic book was published by IDW publishing. you can try to find the single issues at comic stores though most are rare, but they do have them out in collected trade paperbacks at any barnes and nobles or borders booksellers. the paper version is alot more dramatic IMO.

I had my PSP stolen about a year ago, so I've not had the chance for A2 or DGN - but got myself all the comics (might I add signed as well), they're pretty good, probably still pick ones up on eBay for a couple of quid.

So is it interactive at all, or just movie-like?

 Hate to sound ignorant and I know that this off but, what exactly is "Digital Graphic Novel"? Is it just like a book done in the same style as the cutscenes in MPO?

Zeroth - January 4, 2007 06:01 AM (GMT)
Prettey much, but it's a "digital" book. Other than that, yeah.
Digital-meaning you watch it on PSP

You also get to go into a "search" mode and collect hidden data which has in depth data from items and chracters...

I guess you could find stills of each individual scene on the 'Net though, but it's not the same thing really.

No that wouldnt be very fun... i would just buy it, i mean the sound effects and the video effects are actually pretty good.. however the only thing i didnt like about it was that there was almost no voice acting, however the only voice acting there was, was for the laughing parts.

Its a PSP exclusive comic book. It is MGS1 and it just reads through a comic book, sort of like the cutscenes in MGSPO, but I don't know if there is any voice..
