is mgs 2 substance good on pc?? thinking about buuying it cause its hard to find it on ps2...rare...

It has all the features that the PS2 has except the only feature it doesnt have is Skateboarding. Both versions are good unless you like Skateboarding.

It's also about the controlling preferences. If you're ok with using keyboard, pc version is just fine. I've heard that 1st person shooting may be a bit difficult for some (cause it's used in keyboard, not the mouse)
But is the PS2 subsistence really that rare, I don't think it's difficult to find from net store.

It is about the same in terms of rarity and such, but if you want to pay less for the game - then get it on PC for sure. ^_^
The only problem is that the PC version is that it is notorious for problems with graphics cards...... if you have an ATI card then you'll be fine, but may encounter problems with a nVidia card.

Intel make graphics chipsets, which is a lump of silicon that your computer treats as if it were graphics memory, a bit like RAM.
Chipset graphics are really bad and cannot handle simple games well - so I would say that it is quite unlikely that it would work - or work well, which is what you would want.
If you want to play Substance on the PC, make sure you have a proper, dedicated, graphics card by either ATI or nVidia - and even then Substance does have some problems with nVidia cards :/

Well I have an NVIDIA graphics card and it works just great. My video card is GeForce2 Go 32 MB belonging to a laptop. Hard to believe, isn't it? :)

I have Georce 6600 and I need patch to have the game looking at least semi-descent on it.

I have Georce 6600 and I need patch to have the game looking at least semi-descent on it.

My queen (is it OK that I call you like that?), I cannot believe it does not work perfectly on your computer. As far as I know, there exists a patch only for ATI Radeon video card. One of my friends has DELL 6400 with ATI card. Before the game looked crappy but when I have installed the patch, everything became just perfect. I would love to help you, but as I said, the patch is for ATI Radeon cards.
