I've been doing a few lately, you can check them out
here.

Woah very cool indeed, how do you do this?
the_cobbinator - March 28, 2004 10:11 PM (GMT)
Well, you get an un-altered image (I use highresautoimages.com), then you take stuff off of other cars (rims, spoilers, etc.) and put it onto yours. You can use the selcection tool and color stuff like the windows, the body, pretty much anything. I'm using Paint Shop Pro 8, but Photoshop CS is preferred.

Yeah, I feel your pain. Paint Shop Pro just doesn't do it for me. At school we have about 50 macs in a room, all just completely decked out; Dreamweaver, Photshop CS, A whole slew of video editing programs. The guy that runs the lab knows someone high up who grants the school a whole shitload of goodies.

I just got CS, but worked with 7 a lot before. Just have to get used to the new version. I either didn't have time for photoshop in the last few months (more like the last half year) or my computer didn't work. Forgot a few things but with some training I'm sure I can create great things again.

I love all of them cob. I find them quite interesting too look at. It's very clever how it is done. I think I might want to have a go at doing this if you can give me any help.
Can you show me the original pic oc the one you just did?

Well wow, that really is very clever. I am impressed. Although I have to say I prefer the red one. :P
the_cobbinator - May 23, 2004 09:16 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I'd have to say the same, but it's fun to just mess around, and I think in my chop, I accieved the effect i was looking for.
