Title: Idea for an MGO video
Description: A real HELP video.
whitetigerx7 - February 23, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
Since Jiro posted his SAA video maybe some of us could get together and post a HOW-TO-DO video of real tactics, weapon usages, map tactics, survival when outnumbered, effective teamwork, and tactical positioning and maybe even some goofy stuff for humor.
A real documentary style video on really how to play a real game with real tactics and get legit kills and wins without having to cheat.
I know someone is going to say... too little too late but you know, someone told me once, it's never too late for anything. All you have to do is try.
I'm willing to be a stuntman for the video. We can make up a few fake name accounts just for this project and delete them afterwards.
I'd really like to get some good quality people in this project.
Have Jiro demonstrate good solid survival when outnumbered tactics.
Maybe Alt, Soriddo, and Zy could show people how teamwork should and can be done.
Myself, and others here can do weapons and be the stuntcrew for the outnumbered and teamwork stuff.
Here's just a small list what we can show in the videos out of many more:
Headshots (How to get them and how to avoid them)
Autoaim (When to use it and when not to and even avoidance tips)
Falling from buildings (When where and how)
CQC and Knife combo (when and how to do correctly)
1st person shooting (environments and what to look for)
3rd person shooting (having a weapon ready and when you should be prepared)
Heavy Weapon usage tips (getting the most out of the M63, RPG, and Flame Thrower)
Weaponry advantages and disadvantages (what works best when and why)
Using the maps wisely (where to be and why)
Special characters (how to use them when and what not to do)
Just an idea but it is something we could do for fun and it would have a good meaning behind it.

Ready? here's my advice for this. GGL red team knife only res 1:00 /end sarcasm
Hmm maybe...don't forget the Importance of Auto-lock! I mean look where it got [HoBL] and (=G.Force=) <_<
actually really though Auto-lock is one of the best skills to pick especially with the Ak in there but that's just me so...

Well we do need at least one important person...
THE CAMERAMAN/RECORDER
Job is open to anyone with a good quality DVR or Capture Card w/ AVI Recorder program.

I don't know if I could talk Zy into coming back.
As soon as Gray gets his router fixed, we've talked about coming back. However, I don't know if we could actually show what we do. Since it's mostly just instinct on some basic level and knowing the maps.
If you want a video of two guys sneaking through the map while covering each other...it might be possible, but wouldn't be effective if it was simply simulated. It would have to be full on, at the very least 3 against 2 (depending on when the video is made and how long it takes to get back up to speed in the game, could be more...but I do always love a good challenge...so who knows could be fun to see us out of practice and still kicking ass) coming at us and not holding back, cause I'm sure we certainly won't hold back.
Like I said, I'm not too sure how much this would work. I've given my own advice on how to beat practically anyone countless times, and I'm not sure how that would come out in a video.

If I get my original router fixed, sure. Sounds fun.
However lately I've been a bit fixed on terrorizing enemies with my PSG1 from 1000 yards on Rainbow Six: Vegas

Just getting the idea of moving around while maintaining cover on each other, baiting and switching, concentrated firing, covering fire, etc. are just a few examples of good teamwork that could be demonstrated.

That sounds like it would really help those who need tips and how to start out on MGO. It will be a great video and I can help out white if you need me to.

Oh and maybe we can show knife fights to or CQC battles so that way people who don't know will be encouraged to play more Knife Games. That way I'll actually have a game type to actually play now a days since I can't host.
I'll even give ya' one of my tips for knife. I call this one Anti-roll box technology. Of course you should have your box Pre-set like everyone else on MGO I really don't like using the box like a twitchy headshot junkie but.... so that way right before someone rolls you, you equip the box so that way you actually don't fall to the ground but instead you, "stumble" out of the box. I've yet to see if this actually works with grabs,
I'm still hooked on Resistance fall of Man. But I"ve been playin' alittle this week here n' there so .

I can record videos in 720x576 (DVD-quality). When it comes to views, there is only three options.
1. Follow a specific character and view around him with the 3d-camera.
2. The pre-added fixed cameraviews that are added when you are hosting, or if you have been killed in Rescue Mission.
3. My own view, in FPV or 3d-view.
If you want me, count me in. If not, ignore this message.

Number 1 would be the most viable option but since MGO is closing I'm not sure if the venture is wise anymore.

Just came to ask if you were american... I'm european, so I couldnt be in anyway.
