I noticed a little earlier that there is nothing, when you receive a new PM from somebody, to indicate that you have been sent one. This renders the PM function useless - because it's very rare for you to just stumble across the notice saying "Inbox (1)", as opposed to "Inbox (0)" at the top of the forum. Therefore, if you sent somebody a PM, it is unlikely that they would be to read it.

Now, I talked to Solidus and we have fixed this little problem, which can make a world of difference, in just a matter of minutes.

From now on if you receive a PM the "Inbox (1)" will flash, and be colored Red on the forum navigation. As well as this, it will also be bold, to help it stand out more. :)

This is just a small improvement, of course, but it was a problem in need of being fixed. So, enjoy the new ... working ... PM system. lolz.

The thing is, I have the notification option on, so that when I receive one, a popup informs me of it.
The only problem with this is that it doesn't work. I turn it on, and nothing happens. I turn it off and, surprise, nothing happens.

Yes, that's what I mean. The popup didn't work, so we've done this. ;)

hmm, strange. Perhaps it was my popup blocker on firefox that stopped it ... but I dunno. It's better like this anyways, because you're still going to notice either way. :)

Yep... A pop up killer is the problem.
I've put MGSForums.com in my safe list, so I have no problems.

The only problem now is that it is flashing, so I click on it... (how do I say this in English.. :huh: .. man.. :angry: ...)..

Well, it is flashing.
I can click on it when I see it.
I cannot click on it when I don't see it.
It is a matter of timing to click on it when you see it...

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say... probably not... well it doesn't matter.. it's no big problem....
