I started to play MG on the persistence disc and I am up to that point where I need to find the bomb blast suit but i can't find it anywhere. I even went back to where I started. If anyone remembers where is it please tell me

You must have Card 3 at least and go open the rooms in the Basement of the first building. If it's not in those then start tapping the walls for hollow areas and blow them open with the Plastic Explosives.

I actually have the same problem aswell! After I killed the guy who had the shoddy shotgun, I obtained the 3rd card key and left the room via the right door and entered into the spiraling courtyard which is guarded by dogs. I noticed that there was a white door at the bottom of the screen and so as I attempted to enter, it seemed inaccessible. After much frustration and inspection, I consulted a Walkthrough and found that you are meant to be able to access the door while using the 2nd card key. I had already tried this method and still no results. The Walkthrough states that the blast suit IS in that room!

I think there maybe something in the disc which wasn't edited upon it's release and so it may be an error which is in all the copies of SUBSISTENCE.

If anyone does find any positive alternatatives, please share your what you know.

metal gear sucks, they should remake it

Yea I already found the bomb blast suit (that was actually easy :P just punch the walls that the dogs guard and when you see that speech bubble then plant a bomb there) but now I can't find the rocket launcher ANYWHERE ! I have search both buildings 2 times and I can't find it :( Can anyone help ?

*OH and the Faq's are for MSX not the subsistence game ... in the subsistence the game differs from the MSX game.

i dont know i guess they could remake it especialy for people who havent played it...people like me :( ...hell i still havnt played subsistance yet i dont even know the new camos or how the cammera effects the gameplay now...it sucks man i cant find it ANYWHERE

I took my subsistance back and got my money back i didnt have the internet and without that subsistance had very little

i couldnt get into metal gear 1 and 2
i had already seen all the secret theatre movies
and as for the third disc, that isnt even worthy of being mentioned
and from what i hear the online play wasnt all that great anyway

I don't think they should remake every game made on nintendo coz of the graphics <_< If you play through the game you will get the ideo of the story no need to remake every nintendo game on every console ... next thing you know : redfox45 wants metal gear solid 3 to be remade to PS3 lol

Subsistence does not suck - there are more bosses in duel mode, new camos, new unlockables in duel mode and snake vs. monkey mode, online mode (wich does not suck at all) new camera mode, new downloadable camos, secret theatre and the 3rd disc is useful for understanding the point of the story beacose I haven't watched all the cutscenes and codec conv's so I watched the 3rd disc.

And yo guys are getting really opff topic ... just tell me where the rocket launcher is in MG :angry:

yeah we already had most that stuff in snake eater (for getting it late) except the new camera

The PAL version of Snake Eater had the camo's, secret theatre, snake vs monkey, duel mode etc. Everying in subsistence apart from MGO, MG, MG2, 3rd Disk and new camera
