Title: Aaron's going on his second anniversary.
Description: Prior to his death.

BigK - April 2, 2007 06:25 AM (GMT)
Almost 15 years ago, when I had just entered high school, I met Aaron, he was already my best friend in high school. Sophomore year, he introduced me to AJ, Adeeb, Darren, and that's how me and Darren started to hit it off better. Me, Aaron and Darren hung out all the time. Aaron introduced all of us to one another. Me and Darren started hanging out more and more, and me and Aaron were still cool. We always hung out.

Around summer of 2005, I was the best man at his wedding, I loved him like a damn brother.

He had two girls prior to his wedding with his wife Roberta. They are now 5 and 3.

December of 2005 I believe, or somewhere in early 2006, he died from organ failure. Once again, I just want to keep the memories we had together. I prey for his kids and his wife, who is still not married. Financially, she's not struggling, she's almost 33, and works, I believe as a doctor. But I am still concerned about her kids living in a single parent house.

R.I.P. bud, we all still miss you.

*P.S. I made this topic because I recently paid my respects to him today, I just want to show people that you don't have to be sad when you think about those you have lost.*

Yes, I cried for a few days when he died, but when I pay my respects, I'm always happy, reminising in the good times we had. There's never a reason to be sad when you think about those who've lost. I miss him, and wish he were here, but I'm just glad he's resting in peace with God right now. ^_^

*@Darren, yeah, yeah, you were right, **you know what I'm talking about, I just want type it instead of actually say it, if I do, I'm sure my head'll blow up... ** I know you think I'm being an ass about this, but I'm at least admitting it to you dude. You tell AJ and I will kick you in the balls.* :thumb:

I am terribly sorry to hear of such a loss, but I hope you know he would definately want you to cheer up and not look down at the ground and smolder over him.

There are certain times of the calendar that I need to sit and brood myself for the same reasons.
Its a sad thing, but all of us lose people we care about. Thats one thing we all share in common; mortality.

So celebrate the good times you had together and remember him as he was when he was alive.

And here is cheers to fallen brothers and friends, mate.
I've lost quite a few myself.
