Title: Just a couple
Trane - May 3, 2007 11:02 PM (GMT)
Well, this I really don't call much of a confession but you may not know it.Iam a metrosexual. I don't feel any shame or reason not to sayit. But I'm not screaming at the top of my lungs in school I'm a metro sexual. I do wear girls jeans, and living in such an immature society I get made fun of, but it's not bad. I really am proud to be honest.
And for bit of a major one, you may not have known, but I'm honestly celibate, have been all my life, and well I think hormones would've come and gone by now you know. But still I guess I don't feel shame in being celibate, I mean I'm not afraid of a relationship, but as for physically, no.
And here's one I don't really mind at all, some will make fun but I don't care. I've never had a girlfriend, could never be bothered to have one, but I will admit there were times where I had liked girls, it just hasn't worked out. I've dated, but no girlfriend. I'm understandably picky, but it's just that I've never ever found a gal or even guy for that matter who's anything likr me at all. I am of an indie scene, but it's a shame I'm the only one I know, so I just hang out with emo's pretty much(but you know the cool emo's). And for girls I can't find a girl who has heard of one band I like. Although one lass claimed she's heard of "Bloc Party" but that's nothing.
and one more well I can never find myself to get upset about deaths. I've known many people who have died, some more than others, but not once have I shed a tear. I even try a lot to cry sometimes but I just can't. Bit I've just learned to accept. and I also have a slight theory on deaths. But everytime someone dies there's going to be people sad, but there's also going to be someone happy about it. Somewhat irrelevant though.

You're 15. How necessary is it for you to have sex? Or, for that matter, a girlfriend? In all honesty, these seem more like facts of life for most kids your age, not confessions.
Trane - May 3, 2007 11:57 PM (GMT)
Never said anytihng about having sex really. Just not sexually attracted.
I dunno, I never really meant this to be much of a confession. I just did feel I should say so. I'm not bummed about not having a girlfriend, I coulden't care less. I'm honestly, proud of what I've said, I feel no shame, I'm happier than I've ever been with myself.
KaneKurupt - May 3, 2007 11:58 PM (GMT)
Wow. Xd I read this topic and thought maybe you were 20+, but 15? Mate, its no big deal if you havnt had sex or a girlfriend.
I have 2 friends who havnt had girlfriends yet (both 15) and it really isnt affecting them. But I understand why you might feel this as a problem, I'm 15, it seems like everyone is being sexually active and if you arnt you feel like a loser. But really its no big deal.
Trane - May 4, 2007 12:01 AM (GMT)
Wait, are you not getting the point, I'm not sad about not having sex or a girlfriend.
I feel strongly about sex, especially pre-maritals. Sex is a weird issue, it's a big deal to some more than others.
Buffy - May 4, 2007 12:06 AM (GMT)
Hmm interesting people we have on this forums.

Yep. I understand what you mean now. I just posted before I saw your second reply. :thumb: Just not sexually attracted to anyone? Is that what you're getting at?

Yeah, never have bee. It's a large difference between the others, but I manage to cope. Sometimes it feels a little odd to not know exactly what you're mssing out on, especially with friends, but I mean I'm happy with myself.

^ Then that's all that matters.
Otacon - May 4, 2007 01:10 AM (GMT)
Your young. I think things will change when you get to 18-19 maybe.
Nice topic though. Good to see people being open. I dont know what a metro-sexual is though :s
the_cobbinator - May 4, 2007 01:21 AM (GMT)
From Urban Dictionary:
| QUOTE |
| metrosexual: A straight man who embraces the homosexual lifestyle, i.e. refined tastes in clothing, excessive use of designer hygiene products, etc. Usually is on the brink of homosexuality. |
At any rate, I was under the wrong impression. Even so, 15 is still young, and people develop differently. Otacon's right when he says that at 18 or 19 you'll start to develop a more mature sense of what you want in a relationship, be it sex, friendship, or whatever.
Trane - May 4, 2007 01:25 AM (GMT)
I agree, when I get a bit older,Iprobably won't be celibate, and metro-sexual is questionable.
BigK - May 4, 2007 01:29 AM (GMT)
Dude, you SHOULDN'T be sexually attracted to anyone at such a young age. Shit, I STILL think kids under 18 should remain sexless, but that doesn't last in this age does it?
Look bud, don't sweat it, whether you're metro or not, it shouldn't matter, you aren't sexually attracted to no one, well, as long as you aren't sexually attracted to dudes, then you shouldn't worry. When you reach your high teens or twenties, that'll change. Even if it doesn't, don't sweat it.
Trane - May 4, 2007 01:35 AM (GMT)
Once again,I cannot stress enough, I'm not sweating here. I'm not sad about this at all. I'm happy with myself more than Iever have in my life. I feel so much more real, like I have an understanding life, that's how I feel anyway.
Confessions aren't always negative, you know? Well I understand the definition is negative. But may it's just been misnamed.

Guess I was an early starter back in the day.
At any rate Trane, you haven't even begun to develope fully. There are plenty of other things in life to ponder over at the moment. 15 is an awkward age...a very very awkward age.
Wait until you get your first silver hair, you'll think the end of the world is coming.

Yeah, fifteen is somewhat awkward, it's not made out to be, they make it sound like 13, 14 and 16 are the rough ages. But I've never thougt as much, or been able to accomplish as much with my mind and who I am more than I ever was in my life.
Yeah, already have silver hair, I like silver hair to be completely honest,I hope I get more.
Red Queen - May 4, 2007 10:42 AM (GMT)
Wow, this is actually one of better topics last days around here.
Brian sait it nicely - you are 15, not only that you still have enough time for first intimate relationship, now it would in fact still be too early. i'm not saying that you should wait for someone special, but wait untill you want toi have sex with someone, not of curiosity, but when you feel like you're ready. I've broken the ice at age 13, so trust me I know. ^_^
There is nothing wrong about being metrosexual, I have alot of friends who are. People who mock you are most likely to envy you more than anything else because extraordinary people like metrosexuals in this case get attention. I guess by humiliating you they think they are more important, so i wouldn't worry too much.
You havent even started living yet. And trust me when i say, "there is a season for everything." :)
Trane - May 6, 2007 07:46 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I don't really feel any shame, I feel almost like I should, but I'm really not. And well I'm just going to ignore, I mean Iknow I'm different then most people around here anyway, so I feel it's almost understandable?
KaneKurupt - May 6, 2007 07:56 PM (GMT)
Even if you are different than most people around here. (I have no idea if you are.) But if you are, and someone holds this against you. Thats there problem, be who you are, let no one take you away from you.
Trane - May 6, 2007 07:57 PM (GMT)
ahaha, yeah understood, you have no idea how much this is on my mind. I feel I have a pretty good understanding.

Oh, yes I do. XD I'm the only kid in my schools whos an anime fan, only one who likes only British Bands, only one who is obsessed with Metal Gear. Trust me, in my school, those are 3 things you do not like.
I know, your situation is more personal then mine. What you like doesnt compare to someones sexuallity. But I sort of know how you feel....or maybe I just think I do. ^_^

You think having gray hair is bad?!?!
Hahahaha!!! I'm only 20, but I have arthritis! Not alot, but its there. And it can hurt like a motherfucker.
But whatever. Thats life. This is life.
But there are alot of things you think you know about when your 15 but in reality, you have no idea who you really are.
Give it another 10-20 years to truly find yourself.

Ahaha, yeah I'm pretty much convinced I'm going to have cancer regardless, not to say I'm going to smoke two packs a day now.
It's funny because I've always been ashamed of these feelings, mostly around here to be honest. I figured it'd just get flamed, and well why shoulden't I flame all of yours...well I did. but yeah.

I had my 1st girl friend in 7th grade. Im not sure really what age that is, I think its 11 or 12. When I was in middleschool though kids were getting handjobs and blowjobs. I remember I heard of a lot heavy hitters that were going all the way but not sure if the stories were true.
Cardboard Box Junkie - May 9, 2007 11:51 PM (GMT)
One of my best friends in school didn't get his first kiss till he was in senior, about 7 years or so after I got mine. Everyone is different, go at your own pace, who gives a fuck what anybody thinks about your romantic life, it's your romantic life, no one elses, do what you think you're ready for when you're ready. Don't stress.
