g-fox - May 22, 2007 12:38 AM (GMT)
well,i don't you think you can do that, you need ruby to trade em over with,or get an action replay so you can put codes in to get them,i don't know any other way  :o
orionx103 - May 22, 2007 12:38 AM (GMT)
In order to be able to trade from Blue to Sapphire, you have to get a line-up of Pokemon from the first 151. Any Pokemon not in Blue can not be traded to Blue, and you can't establish a connection with Blue if you have Pokemon in your line-up that aren't in Blue.

Iam sorry dude i do not know what you mean. Can you explain it again please?
orionx103 - May 22, 2007 01:14 AM (GMT)
In Pokemon Blue, you can only have five Pokemon in your line-up and they are all between numbers 1 and 151. In order to be able to trade Pokemon from Sapphire to Blue, your Sapphire line-up must consist of a maximum of five Pokemon from numbers 1 to 151.
Buffy - May 22, 2007 01:48 AM (GMT)
That's what happens when you neglect your training~!
Goodluck with the trading.

Oh, so basically for Sapphire i gotta have pokemon in my line up that are from the old games such as Blue version. Hmm i only know one Oddish.
Disciple - May 22, 2007 12:12 PM (GMT)
Yeah that was a problem in R/S/E with too little 'old' pokemon to trade with.
No here's my problem. On my old Gold Version I have all the pokemon and a ton I want to trade off including Mew. I want to do this before the game card start to erase data on me. So I tried to link up to Fire Red yet I can't get a connection.
Am I doing something wrong here or can I even link Gold to Fire Red at all?
HolySpawn - May 22, 2007 02:08 PM (GMT)
My friend Shane said to me u can only trade metal to metal games. Metal is like Gold, Silver
..Liquid.. - May 22, 2007 05:44 PM (GMT)
Blue/Red and Yellow can trade with- Gold, Silver and Crystal.
Gold/Silver and Crystal can trade with- Blue/Red and Yellow
Sapphire/Ruby and Emerald can trade with- FireRed and Leafgreen
FireRed/LeafGreen can trade with- Sapphire/Ruby and Emerald. Altough only later on when you have the Ruby and Sapphire.
Anyway you can't trade from Blue to Sapphire since Blue is a GB game and Sapphire is a GBA.
I'm really waiting for Diamond and Pearl now by the way.
HolySpawn - May 22, 2007 10:47 PM (GMT)
Yea you can Orionx said you can if you trade old with old. All i wanted were Mewtwo Blastoise and Charizard on Sapphire. To help me beat the elite 4
..Liquid.. - May 23, 2007 05:28 PM (GMT)
Dude you cant...
I'm positive cause I tried it a couple of times, it doesnt work.

Ugh you were right. In my Blue version i was trying to connect my game to Sapphire and while my sapphire says connecting please wait my other one keeps saying that this is only for linking people. So iam so pissed i might have to buy Gold or Silver meybe crystal to help me out :(
Disciple - May 24, 2007 01:44 AM (GMT)

Disciple - May 25, 2007 11:37 PM (GMT)
Use Wobbafett. He has the ability to keep Pokemon in battle.
Did you catch Bagon in Emerald?
black king - May 25, 2007 11:40 PM (GMT)
can't find Wobbafett. and ya i got bagon in emerald. why?

Disciple - May 25, 2007 11:42 PM (GMT)

black king - May 25, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)

I need help on Rayquaza. I cant seem to catch him, what things should i use? i really want him btw the only other legendary i have is Kyogre. And any other tips on how to get better guys iam all ears :)
Disciple - May 26, 2007 12:27 AM (GMT)
Timer Balls are freaking great against Legends. Try those.
HolySpawn - May 26, 2007 01:08 AM (GMT)
I caught Rayquaza and now iam gonna try for the regi's are they hard? also how did u get Groundon did u trade him or u buy a ruby game?
Disciple - May 26, 2007 11:32 AM (GMT)
The Regis are pretty easy, with Ultra and Timer Balls. The trick is the tick at there life until a sliver remains, freeze or put them to sleep and start chucking. Groudon is in Emerald, in cave somewhere (I forget exactly where, sorry)
HolySpawn - May 26, 2007 04:55 PM (GMT)
Oh i should buy Emerald. If i can save the money :P
Disciple - May 26, 2007 05:09 PM (GMT)
My friend has it with a ton of good Pokemon. All the Regis, the three Legends, Sceptile, Flygon. Metagross, Latias, Crawdaunt and Aggron. I want to buy it but, meh.
We imported his three Regis on to my Diamond and I caught myself Regigigas. B)
I also have Heatran, Dialga, Giratina, Rotom, Uxie, and Azelf. Mesprite and Casselia or whatever are hard to rangle without Wobbafett. <_<
HolySpawn - May 26, 2007 05:34 PM (GMT)
I got a couple rares on my Sapphire i got Aggron, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Thats all i can think of atm lol :P can u tell me how to cath a Flygon they look sweet.
black king - May 26, 2007 06:23 PM (GMT)
find a Trapnich and evlove it to vibra and evolve that to flygon. Oh and any idea where to find a wobbafett. oh and Holyspawn you can catch all the legandaries on emerald. Kyogre. Groudon, Rayquaza(duh), the regis, and Latios or Latias(only one of them). anyone know how to find Deoxys? he's the best pokemon up to emerald their is but i can't find him anywhere!
HolySpawn - May 26, 2007 06:37 PM (GMT)
Deoxys (sp?) you cant catch him Disciple said to me in a pm. You can only get it with a Gameshark or using hacks but it might fuck up ur game. You can find a Wobbafett in the Safari Zone. Thanks for telling me how to get a Flygon and i might buy Emerald :D i wonder if you can clone or dupe things :P
Disciple - May 26, 2007 06:56 PM (GMT)
Yeah, Deoxys is only available through Hacks or Codes through GS. In all the Pokemon games. I tried to see if I could find one in Fire Red but I need to do one of the two ways to get him. Same for Emerald, I looked that up for my friend. :(
Edit: Forgot to add that I'm speaking for the US versions of the games, which may or may not be the same for the 'worldly' versions.
I just caught Cresselia and Mesprit. Damn annoying those ones. I hate catching run away Pokemon.
Does anyone know where exactly I can find a Bagon in Emerald?
HolySpawn - May 26, 2007 07:00 PM (GMT)
Sorry dude i dont but look what i found on google.
Deoxys Get the Aurara Ticket, and go to Birth Island
from gamespot
Mew Get the Old Sea Chart, and go to Faraway Island
from the same source.
Disciple - May 26, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
Here's one the ways I read. From GameFaqs.

Pokemon Emerald:
Question: HOW DO I GET JIRACHI AND DEOXYS?
Answer: You can get Jirachi by using the bonus disc that came with the English version of Pokemon Colosseum. To get Deoxys, you'll have to trade it from FireRed or LeafGreen.
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green:
Eight and Nine Island can't be accessed normally. They require a special event held by Nintendo to get to either island. Or, a cheating device.
There isn't a lot to this island, at least in terms of things to do. In terms of Pokemon, it has two, count 'em, two legendary birds, both from the G/S/C games. Yes, that's right, Ho-oh and Lugia are on this island, and you can capture them both. There are no random battles, no puzzles, just you and the birds. When you come to an intersection, Ho-oh is to the left, Lugia to the right.
Now, as for capturing them, well...that's another paragraph altogether. They're both level 70, and Lugia is equipped with Hydro Pump, Recover, Swift
and Rain Dance, while Ho-oh has Fire Blast, Recover, Swift and Sunny Day. Both are a royal pain in the ass to capture, naturally. But don't use your Master Ball. As always, paralyze, sleep, or freeze them in order to stop their rampages, then start tossing Ultra Balls when their HP is down to a sliver of red. My personal favorite technique is to use a legendary with the Pressure ability and just use it as a tank. Zapdos in particular is a good choice. The Pressure ability makes your opponent use two PP for every attack, so the two birds will run out of PP while you keep your tank nice and healed.
That's the long way, anyway. It's primarily for fun, or if you have a lot of patience. If you just don't care, capture them the same as any other legendary. Make sure you capture both! You can only visit this island once, so if you miss one, you won't get another chance.
Besides the two legendaries, there's nothing else to do. One more island left.
Before coming here, I strongly recommend you find a decent Pokemon around level 30 or so. Alternatively, you can use a Pokemon with False Swipe. You've been duly warned.
This island is very, very simple. There's just a triangular rock and the final island legendary, Deoxys. You have to examine the triangle from a specific side each time to make the DNA Pokemon appear. So here's the order:
Bottom Right Bottom Left Right Left Top Right Left Top Bottom
...and Deoxys will appear! The problem with this particular legendary is it's only level 30, so your team which is probably left over from the Elite 4 will more than likely blast it into oblivion. So, a level 30 or so Pokemon or one with False Swipe will be handy in this situation. Deoxys uses Knock Off, Psychic, Spikes, and Snatch, but because it's level 30, it's primarily just an annoyance. Don't use your Master Ball, though. The real trouble with this critter is getting its HP down to the red without actually killing it. Once you've got it, that's all for the islands. |
I was pissed when I read this. And for Mew.
| QUOTE |
Mew!*
To get Mew, you must aquire the Old Sea Chart. Now this really stinks: To get it you can do 2 things: The first way is to buy a Gameshark from a video game store or online (like at Amazon.com). Then, plug it into the Gameboy, start the game, and go anywhere you want. Then, hold L and enter the code: 19C67C656689 94318A10E753 You are now on Faraway Isle. Mew will immediately see you, and you'll enter battle. Mew is psychic, so battle it with Bug, Dark, and Ghost. If you accidentally kill it, turn off the Gameboy and retry it: just like several other legendaries, you only get one shot at it. You can't save on Faraway Isle, though. Unfortunately, this place is off the maps, so you can't fly back. Instead enter this code while holding L: 19C67C656689 12B9BF13D649 This code is similar to the first, but is slightly different. The second way is to go to a Nintendo Game Event, but they haven't been doing those for several years. If you know someone who went to one and has a Chart, mix records with them to get one. |
Sorry for the long post. ^_^
Fierce Deity - May 26, 2007 07:20 PM (GMT)
I have all Deoxys, Jirachi and Mew.
Deoxys I got from downloading at a Pokémon event in Birmingham.
Jirachi I got from trading it over after unlocking it on Pokémon channel for Gamecube.
And I used the Mew glitch on Pokémon red and blue and traded him over.
HolySpawn - May 26, 2007 07:20 PM (GMT)
Dam man i need to get emerald now! if it has all the legendaries on it. Does i say which pokemon u should use ur masterball on? also can u trade pokemon from Sapphire to Emerald?
Fierce i thought u cant trade Blue or Red guys over to new style games?
Fierce Deity - May 26, 2007 07:24 PM (GMT)
Use Gameshark, But don't use it for cheating any other way, Nintendo got bored of people doing that so they made something that records it on your version making it so you can't download Pokémon at events.
I got 3 masterballs in total.
1. You get on the game.
2. Traded it over from Colosseum.
3. Traded it over from Pokémon Channel.
Used them on Deoxys, Mewtwo and Jirachi.
HolySpawn - May 26, 2007 07:29 PM (GMT)
Man lol i really need a Gameshark :P Next time i go to EB games ill see. Is it just called a Gameshark or is there a name for it?
Fierce Deity - May 26, 2007 07:33 PM (GMT)
Yeah, Gameshark is a brand name for those sort of products, Theres many of them tho.
By the way, I want to say, Deoxys is the worst Pokémon I've ever played with. I got him first on Fire Red, In his attack form, Was so weak tho, A level 10 Pokémon was a threat. Traded him over to Leaf Green, Defence form, Attacks would take ages to kill someone, Emerald, Speed form, Which was basically just like any other Pokémon. So theres nothing special about him. It just cool how he's not actually a Pokémon he's a virus from outter space.
HolySpawn - May 26, 2007 07:35 PM (GMT)
Wait a minute pokemon in the new games have attack forms? and what do u mean by a Virus?
