I was thinking maybe you can do the same sort thing, but have it matching the colour of the forum instead.

I like it, good looking thing. However the text is a little hard to read, maybe you could adjust that a little. I would also recommend maybe looping the animation or something so it looks like it is repeating not just restarting again, but that would probably be a little too hard...
Not bad though. :)
