im playing with normal and i finished the "ninja" boss in my 6-th try!!!
i have finished mgs 3 and mgs 2 with allmost all the secrets unlocked when i got mgs 1...
mgs 1 is kinda harder than i expected...
is it true that other versions r easyer that the first one. :ocelot:

Beat MGS3 on extreme difficulty beating all the bosses by stamina depletion, defeating all guards by stamina depletion, and using water, crocodile and quicksand to destroy all evidence. getting all the camos, including the fly camo and bannana camo, with security entering alarm state not more than four times. In 2 hours and 15 minutes or less. THEN, you're a pro. :mantis:

First time I played MGS1 I beat the Ninja, on normal mode in the 2nd time, and within 9 hours. This wasn't TTS though. Now I can clear MGS1 within 4 hour hours with ease, on hard and without killing any guard or cause any alarms (unless you're supposed to, like the 'fight' on that endless staircase)

I beat MGS on PS1 in 1 hour and 52 mintues. MGS:TTS about 20 minutes less since you can quick change the key cards.

so far i've played mg1,mg2,mgs1,mgstts,mgs2,mgs3,mpo,mga1,mga2,and beaten them on every difficuttly,and unlocked everything
you wouldn't believe how long it took me to beat all those rays on euro extreme on substance :wacko:

HOLY.............. it took me long long time just to even unlock all dog tags in mgs2 in normal mode

I played MGS1 about... 90 times now, at least that's what my memorycards tell me :P, played MGS2 about 6 times, and MGS3 20 times.
I know it sounds pretty unbelievable, but let's just say I have a LOT of spare time.

4hr 12min and pass the torture with everyone alive at the end ending

Well, the torture isn't thát hard, so that's included. It took me more time to figure out how to use the ketchup in the beginning :P

What happens when you die at the torture scene? Do you really have to start all over again? Never happened to me. Not to sound cocky, but everytime the meter gets too close to the limit, I give in.

idk i copied my saved game when fighting with wolf b4 gettin g in torture so i just keep loading it and i still don't no how rto use ketchup i mean nothing happern when i used it [played6 time]

you have to lay down, press the action button.

When you do that, the ketchup bottle will break, and it will make it look like Snake is lying dead in a puddle of blood.
Don't do it when Johnny is around though, he will just taunt you.
And keep lying still when you broke the bottle. One movement when Johnny is around and your 'cover' is blown

oh yeah same old school classic that one ggaurd in mgs have to go to bathroom cuz stomach problem him in mgs1 in mgs2 u can hear him with mic and 3rd one is guard in mgs3 when u get in cell

in MGS3 it's Johnny's father actually.

But back to topic, on what difficulty are you playing?

I take my time, unlock everything and I own every single boss without a sweat after a few tries.

Although, in a way I don’t feel like a pro.

MGS is not like a fighting vs. game…so I don’t know, do you get what I’m getting at here?

yea lol i can easaly speed play through the games, i can usaly get the secrets the cammo and the dogtags if i have the time but i cant to the to at once its rediculausly hard.

I'm in the same boat, I did all of that except Twin Snakes.

OH GOD THOSE DAMN RAYS ON EURO EXTREME. But it was a fun boss fight on euro, Extreme was making it boring.

I finished MGS: TTS on Extreme difficulty and its not that hard
The only boss I found difficult was Vulcan
I know... Hes easy but I didn't die at all

my personal record on the ps1 is 3 hours and 26 mins. On hard. Though I have been playing the game a bit too much realy. (or wait.. there is nothing "too much" when we are talking about MGS)

Well I remember once I played mgs:tts on hard I got so far to the torture and I didn't save and didn't think it'll be that hard but I died -_- and I couldn't continue which piss me off <_< so I played again and did it much faster and by the end I realize I beat the game in 3 hours :lol: and

with MGS2 I played on Extreme best time was 6 hours it was very hard and MGS3 best time was 4 hours and 48 minutes I knew I could of done faster but I just love playing around with the guards it's too fun ^_^.

I would consider anyone who can get through the games without being spotted or killed once a PRO, it doesn't matter the length of time it thakes you to finish the game. I've rushed through MGS2 in about an hour and a half before now but really what is the point, it takes away from all the fun.
