Whew, haven't been here for a while due to technical difficulties. Anyway, in this topic we can have some fun by discussing any movie ideas people have! It can be anything original, anything based on stuff, you name it!

well the worst ideas i've heard to date are sims and even worse Monopoly(see past topics for them). good ideas? well how about getting all the Harry Potter movies out before the kids turn 20! besides that we could use a third and good MK movie. i've heard the second one sucked and the first one was pretty good for a nineties movie :)

The Sims movie is one of the more worse ideas I've heard of. I couldn't believe it when I read the news about that being in the works...and at the same time, I did. Uwe Boll has made it acceptable to create lousy movies based on video games that shouldn't have a movie.

I think the game F.E.A.R. would make a great sci-fi horror film but the chances of it being screwed up by Hollywood are so great that I wouldn't want to see it done, not unless the developers of the game were a big part of it and they got the right director for it.

i bilieve they are making a F.E.A.R. movie. Daed rising and Gears of War would all be sweet. they're making a Halo movie coming out sometime in 2008. if Hollywood screws up Halo like they did eragon i'm gonna be mad :angry:

This topic is a fun one where you can tell us any ideas YOU have for a movie.

a group of marines are sent to spy on on a town thats become overun with zombies, and rescue any hostages.
They moniter everything from the safety of a forest near by when shit hits the fan and they are forced to take shelter in the town.

The group must now survive against overwhelming odds.
They must do things like make fires, hunt food, find water and find a way out of there before they are all killed.
one by one they die until eventually they make their way to the train station where they must find materials to fix the trains so that they can ride it.

At the end of the movie the survivors are riding the train, you then see an areial view of the tracks, andthen the camera zooms in to a specific part of the railway line that has been sabotaged meaning:

1) someone sabotaged the tracks and
2) there can be a sequal.

Demons. since religion began they have been used as signs of death and evil. well one demon doesn't want to be bad anymore but instead, he wants to help people. satan however doesn't approve one bit so the demon runs away and must evade satan and his bounty hunters to escape satan's realm. will he make it?

Well I wouldn't mind seeing a Gears of War movie. I think that would make an amazing movie. The plot is well written, and the gameplay is really good. Of course producers would most likely fuck it up.

Another movie I have always wanted to see made is a Terminator movie set in the future. One where you get to see the Earth getting destroyed and the humans are fighting all the robots. It would be like the clips you see from memories in the movies. The ones where there are skeletons on the ground and the sky is black and shit.

On an island there are experiments going on with earths top predators.
They are trying to tame them, and enhace their abilities so that the animals can follow human orders and help the fight against crime, or war whatever.
They make them faster, stronger and smarter.

Then some people go in and inspect that everythings going Ok andthen the animals break loose.
Then they are trapped on the island.

The cool thing about this is that its not about a killer croc, or shark its rather a whole group of dangerous animals togetheir andthen you never know which one is going to pop up when.

Can have: Lions, Leopards, crocodiles,sharks,bears,piranhas,cheetahs,wolves,great whites, vultures ect.
But they have all been enhanced.

Like Jurassic Park but with animals.
Its called:The Predators

A boy finds a piece of meteorite rock when at the park on day and takes it home.

That night, an alien parasite crawls into the boy's head.

Five years later, the alien has fully assimilated with the boy, and he is now a vicious being focused only on bringing an end to threats to his[the alien's] species- i.e. Humans.
The twist is, no one knows of the alien.

Guy meets girl. Girl meets guy. Fall in love. Girl finds out guy is a 'super-cannibal' - a super-cannibal's purpose is to eat the entire human race. Guy's weakness, he is in love .. can't eat the girl. Girl has to make a choice, love or everything else.

That's pretty twisted, I gotta say XD.

Hmmm....I've always had this plot in my head in which souls who are in a state of unrest in the underworld(or Hell, but I'm athiest), will have a chance to "finish the job" by being ressurrected back to the living world. Only souls who want revenge may go back to the living world, and only about 5 souls can go at a time. These souls are given a new body and a credit card: the Devil's credit. With the credit card, comes a special account. Any money the avengers collect will only last a week in the account. But basically, the credit card is loaded with a fixed amount that should be enough for them to take their revenge. Once the card is used up, they go back into the underworld.

But here's the twist: one of the spirits fell in love with another person in the living world and began spending his money on her. In order to keep living in the living world, he finds another soul with the Devil's credit and takes his card. The contract has been violated, while the protagonist tries to hide his deed from the devil himself.

Idea No. 2:
For some strange reason, the entire human race is rapidly mutating into some sort of carnivorous creatures bent on killing each other. With time running out and the mutation getting worse, a group of scientists try to figure out the cause and possibly the cure for the mutation. The cause turns out to be radiation from the moon; mankind's final hope - a final space mission to destroy the moon. 6 brave astronauts are selected and are sent to the moon in a special space-craft designed to dig down to the moon's core and also fitted with 2 nuclear fusion reactors. The astronauts are mutating too .. *I don't know what happens next, but I am sure it's not a happy ending :elaugh2:*

Inspiration from: Halo, The Time Machine, Armageddon

I'm actually writting a novel at the moment, but I suppose it could be turned into a film when I become a billionaire and it sells millions (yeah, like that'll happen <_< )

A young man lives alone in an apartment in the city. His only friend is a girl from school who is an actor. Suddenly, she goes missing and the boy tries to find her. He then discovers that strange and supernatural things are happening. He soon begins to realise that he is changing into a creature of incredible power. After finding the missing girl, he finds out that she too has this power and tells him to visit a man who will tell him about this power. After finding this man, he is told that all three of them have been given the power to transform into beats of incredible power. The main character can turn into a White Falcon, the girl changes into a Black Falcon, and the other guy turns into a Grey Wolf. The reason they have this power is to fight and evil force called Vedil (anagram of devil).

That's all I'll tell you. I've finished writing it but I need to go back and make changes. I think it might be too short. I think it would make a good movie.

That sounds quite interesting and entertaining actually. Have you thought about getting it published? Get it checked out and ask them to read your novel. Then, when you get feedback, work with it and when you're happy, go again. Keep going as long as you need to and you'll probably get it published.

I've been coming up with other ideas too. I was thinking of writting a script on a Crash Bandicoot movie. Ideas just pop into my head, it's great fun.

The human race finds the exact day of Man's doom. An asteriod is destined to impact Earth on 'X' Day and theres really no hope for survival. Sending a spaceship with a bomb would be disasterous, causing a massive bombardment upon Earth. The only hope humans have is sending a ship to 'pull' the rock out of it's original trajectory.

Several years pass and the human race is increasingly doubtful of the
government(s). With life seemingly bleak, the way of life changes drastically. Governments(s) collapse under the oppression of several rebellious groups. Some loot and steal as much as possible, others pray, some believe that if the race were to 'move' underground then humans might stand a chane against armageddon, while some search for love, looking to spend there final moments in peace. The focus of the movie would be on the different people and their lifestyles and the destruction of order, law and civilization.

A few endings I have in mind would be that the 'end' does happen and that's that, the small ship miraculously moved the asteroid or the rock never hits period for some reason.

Title- Last Days of Earth or something. <_<

A movie idea? Star Wars 2.5 - The Clone Wars. I want to know more about the Clone Wars. It sucks how we miss out the whole three years of the wars. And the cartoons just didn't cut it for me.

You’re right there. By blowing up the Moon, you would cause the world to undergo severe Tsunami’s, Earthquakes etc. You ever seen The Time Machine? In any case, idiots blow up the Moon which sends the world into turmoil from natural disaster.
Also, how does the Moon give off radiation…?

@WHiTeFaLCoN - Yours sounds almost like something from a comic book. You should add a lot more context and depth to the story – though, I’m sure you already have.

@Disciple - Your idea is really quite intriguing. I’d love to hear exactly what ending would go with this, as in most cases the meaning of the story is shown through the ending events.

I’m actually writing my own narrative in script form… however, I’m far to self-conscious to go into any details. Although, I will say that it is very psychological, philosophical and is generally a bit of a head-fuck – I love those kinds of stories, after all. ^_^

For one I ain't Steven Spielberg you know and therefore you don't have to be Paul Mooney. Two .. well, you are right about the Tsunami and things .. and hence I wrote its not gonna have a happy ending.

@ Disciple: I've actually had a story not far from your plot, and yet different xD.

As Earth becomes increasingly destoryed by tsunamis and pollution, mankind began looking for opportunities to settle on Mars. They send a troop of 4 astronauts, except a freak accident occurs during their journey to Mars in which the astronauts began to lose contact with their space station due to disturbances in the magnetic fields of Earth and Mars. On top of that, their rocket began losing fuel at a peculiar rate. Before they knew it, they fell through a tear in the universe and was transported to another galaxy. They emerged into an unfamiliar space, with a large planet before them. The planet is blue and orange, and they assumed the blue represented water. Therefore, using the rest of their fuel, they descended upon the unfamiliar planet, unsure of what to do. After nearly being burned inside their rocket, the four astronauts miraculously survive, but their oxygen levels were running low. Who will be the guinea pig, are there other inhabitants of this new planet, and how will they ever get back to Earth?

Earth is in shit.
It is the beginning of world war 3.
Terorism has increased dramatically, and Al-Quida has manipulated many countries to be allies, by giving them resouces, natural materials ect, in exchange for soldiers.

As this happens, some of these countries are being invaded by rival countries, confusing the good from the bad.
With all of these men, Al-Quada is tripling his terrorist attacks. Every year millions of people die world wide.

The earth is experiencing the affects of global warming. And Al Queda is planning something massive that could wipe out an 8th of the worlds population.

In addition to the shit going on, UFO reportings are tripling, and alien abductions are also increasing, and now some ufolostigst are suspecting an alien invasion.
Now there is public panick.
Crime statistics are rising high.
Many counntries are in civil war.

Now the world must fight off against Al Quida.
Stop global warming
prepare for the alien invasion
Not lose too many men in case they need to fight off the aliens.

The 2nd film, Al-Quida and USA are both tying to get the aliens on their side.

what if you had the power to allow things to come out of cyberspace or videogames and be your servant(s)? well one person can do it. he doesn't like how things are done in any country. so now he's going to unleash a virtural army to conquer every square inch of Earth. The U.S. will fall under attacks by Shao Kahn's army. the U.K. will be attacked by Spartans,the Coveanent, and Flood. standing in the way of this onslaught are some rebel videogame heroes and a handfull of human freedom fighters. can they save Earth from one of it's greatest joys(videogames) or will they destroy it?

Here's an idea.

An old building is being demolished that stood during the 1800s.
The building in question was used for some of the most horrific tortures imagianble. A black project of old. The building's caretaker during this period was a superstitious man who tried to channel the spirits of those killed there to eternal rest, but unwittingly imprisoned them in limbo.
During the demolition, present day, the man who demolishes the particular wall keeping the spirits in limbo, starts to feel funny.

He gets manipulated by the spirits to fulfill their revenge on the descendants of those by whom they were wronged.

Can he shake them and help them rest?

How come we in the UK get the worst of it? Spartans, Covenant AND Flood? Holy shit!

A cop has a vision that a newly elected president of USA is in fact a demon, planning on taking over the world and destroying all forms of religions so that everyone worships him.

He tells people but nobody takes him seriously. Then his visions start coming true, and some of the things he saw are happening.

Now he and some cop friends from work must assasinate the president before all hope is lost.
more people start beleiving him, and they start planning the hit.

This one is based on my stroy I started (viewable in the writer's section)- Black Tide. Note, the stories are not the same, just the way the creature work.

A bunch of creatures, not murderous by nature, need a way to protect their species from extinction. Previously, they reproduced only by harvesting the bodies of humans. But since humans became more industrious, the creatures have had to lessen their rate of reproduction due to the increased threat of humans. The creatures must now greatly increase their numbers, without humans finding out, or face extinction.

The rule, "Who knows, dies."

Will they succeed?

there is a war going on between two factions. Each side represents either Light or Darkness. in a furious battle the leaders of the light make a blind jump into hyperspace only to wind up in an unknown area of the galaxy. they find a primitive planet called Earth and it's inhabidants look just like the humans in the two factions. Knowing that the Dark ships followed tham they abondoned their ship and landed on Earth. The Dark ships emerged later and cloaked in orbit around the blue and green planet sending down some of it's greatest warriors to find the Light and kill them quietly where no one would notice. They assians had to disguise themselves or they would be known as aleins. will the light make friends with the humans before the Dark assians get ot them or will the humans take the Dark assians as friends? Or will the humans try to kill them both?
