Title: I got anger problems
Description: *sigh*

wraith shadow - August 15, 2007 02:41 AM (GMT)
I get pissed off way to easily and it is starting to effect the way I act towards people.I used to be able to hold it in until home but now I can't.

sadistic_greyfox - August 15, 2007 02:51 AM (GMT)
Believe it or not I use to have anger probs back in HS, that led to a bit of suspensions. I think that natural for most male teens though, that sort of defiance stage. Most people grow out of it but some people stay like that so don't worry much about it.

wraith shadow - August 15, 2007 02:59 AM (GMT)
i am afraid I will hurt somebody

krypton_ls - August 15, 2007 03:00 AM (GMT)
I can get very pissed off when playing games and need to hit something like my (old) computer or keyboard. It felt much better.... until the keyboard broke. ^_^

Yes, but the last thing you want is to take the anger and rage further and out onto someone.

Do not let it get bottled up inside your system - go outside and do something physical regularly to take your mind off things, or just curse when nobody's around to relieve it from your system.

Things like this get serious when you're pissed off and there are other people around, and that is when things could get nasty.

wraith shadow - August 15, 2007 03:58 AM (GMT)
I have already hurt somebody and right in front of his mom

I think sometimes that I have anger problems too. Most days I'm very clear-headed and calm, 'cause I'll be honest, I hate confrontation. So yeah, I'll be a very nice person for as long as the other people around me are nice in return and what not, but I don't know.. I'll explode randomly. But I can only think of a few instances since Christmas when this has happened..

For example, on Christmas day I punched a hole in the wall - long story that I'd rather not get into. But yeah, it's probably the worst out of the times I can think of. Just yesterday though, I ended up shouting at a clerk after she told me and my friend that we couldn't come inside with drinks. I told her that I liked shopping next door anyways, and yelled "BITCH" as I was walking out. It's kind of embarrassing too, because a ton of people were checking out and walking in during this whole fiasco. But she's always been a bitch, practically every time I see her there, and we go in there regularly with drinks and have never been told to get out or anything of the sort before.

Ah, and I yelled at my ex-girlfriend pretty loud on the last day of school, the same day that we broke up. She wasn't listening to anything I was trying to say.. I didn't want to break up, I loved her and blah. Well, she kept ignoring me and it was just such a major slap in the face.. I really was a good boyfriend to her, and in the end it came down to her just not liking me? I don't know, but I cursed her out much louder than I intended in front of a shitload of people.

I'm just glad it was the last day of school. Hopefully mostly everyone has forgotten about it.. but the ones that I talked to afterwards that witnessed it heard me out and were fairly understanding, considering the circumstances.. so I don't know. I don't think it was justified, but I tolerated so much in that relationship and did so much for her, and it ended up being for nothing.. and the realization happened to kick in as she was blatantly ignoring my every word..

Anyways, I've become a bit sidetracked. I just think I have minor issues here and there..

explain I am curious.

There would be times where I would just get super pissed off at months at a time.

I would just hate the human race and simply seethed of anger. I could literally raise my hand and it would tremble with pent up energy.

I would go on walks often to the mall and carry a big knife strapped to the back of my belt and walk around looking for trouble.

I would literally right then and there kill someone, and not care about the consequences... if the situation would present itself.

I would plan out several realistic and doable murders and think about it often.

But that was then.

Helikaon - August 16, 2007 07:31 AM (GMT)
Anger problems eh? I had them myself a few years ago (during my 9th and 10th year of school), I eventually 'mellowed' out a bit after I made more friends and found outlets for my anger, be it drinking or excercise (I'm not condoning underage drinking)

Young Snake - August 16, 2007 05:57 PM (GMT)
Just follow what Chris Rock said: "You're white! Smile!" Nah, but if you got anger issues, consult a professional. It's not necessarily harmless, it can be dangerous.

abc123 - August 16, 2007 05:58 PM (GMT)
When Im mad I talk like snake or that guy from Pantera.

What you gotta do is go to a good concert, get into the pit - or hell, just anywhere in the crowd, really - and just start decking people. The worst thing that could happen in that case is you'll get thrown out, but that's no big deal.

Why the fuck would you want to deck people when you just lunge your entire bodymass at them and they'll just cheer and do it back?

If God does exist, thank you for creating the moshpit.

Buy a punch bag, and take your anger out on that after school or whatever. I've thought about getting a punch bag many times. hen I get angry I just bottle it up most times and I start to tremble with the fury sometimes. People deal with it in different ways, and you've got to find your way.

I'd do that, but my punches are terrible. That's why I avoid fights, if I can't find a way to knee them in the stomach and have to resort to punches, I'd get the crap kicked out of me.

Yeah, but the great thing about a punch bag is the fact that it can't punch you back. Besides, if you punch things more often, you'll get better at it. I did karate for 4 or so years, so I know how to punch properly.

I never stuck at karate. Think it was the "Ki-yahhhhhhh!!"-ness, put me off.

I was getting pretty good at Judo though, before the guy went to New Zealand.

Also, here's an anti-stress technique, listen to something funny, or so cheesy that you can't help laughing. Like... the Pokemon Rap!

I will be the very best,
Like no-one ever was,
To catch them is my real test,
To train them is my cause,
POKEMON!

Man, I still remember that song after at least five years.

I wouldn't recommend Karate to vent.

Train in Brazillian Jujitsu, Krav Maga, or Muy Thai.

^^Just about to say that iAn.. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Boxing has done wonders for me. Any stress I get, I can take it out there (in a more controlled manner..). But then again, I'm generally not very stressed or angry. Punching bags work, or you could just exercise.

jonhou - August 17, 2007 07:48 PM (GMT)
I've had anger problems my self. Sometimes I would be in a really good mood, and then suddenly turn angry.
But I think it is very commen when being a teenager (specially male teenagers), but you will grow out of it in a couple of years.
If you feel like you're about to explode, just take take a deep breath, and go someplace where you can be alone and screem your lungs out, that helps (at least for me).

there's your problem man, those type of things will subconciously build up on you. And watch the day when someone does something to insult one of those people, all your anger will explode out of you. And yes you might hurt someone... If you don't slowly let it out before that happens. Come to terms with what's going on around you, don't let things get to you. I'm not saying to ignore everything, but don't take everything in and keep it there. This is something that won't go away right now, but will eventually, Just surround yourself with positive's, no joke. Friends, family, video games, whatever makes you happy. :lmao:

I have to admit im pretty fucking paranoid i get pissed off pretty damn easy this one kid told me it was a waste to buy the ps3 i beat the shit out of him (it was also because i was being critisized all day for it)

The Departed - September 4, 2007 04:03 AM (GMT)
Most teens seemed to be angry because other kids would mock or humiliate them. In high school, I learned to laugh, and it became a breeze. Made friends, never had issues with people, and the only fights I got into were simply unavoidable.

WHiTeFaLCoN - September 8, 2007 09:05 PM (GMT)
I too have anger problems. I've broken some of the things in my room coz of it.

You and me both man. I'd never thought to use it as an anti-stress solution though, I'll have to try it.

The Black Devil Of Outer Heaven - September 20, 2007 08:22 PM (GMT)

XD, who comes up with that shit? Who would ever sing that?

When Im angry I just listen to Metal, torture, kick, and punch a sheet of paper. (works) Punch my bed or lie down. If you want to become more angry by any chance then try and force a smile into a mirror, works.

Shyne-Bryght - September 20, 2007 10:12 PM (GMT)
I lift weights and/or listen to heavy music very loud when I'm angry, or just hit the cause of the annoyance, usually a chav or other person.

ichbinscissors61 - September 21, 2007 12:09 AM (GMT)
I do a lot of things. I can punch random objects, swear loudly and bang my head on things like walls. Kind of painful. :P
I agree with abc though, lying down can be very helpful, it can calm me down when I've totally lost it. It's also good for me to be by myself for a while, usually a few hours and I'm a bit better.
I try not to play any videogames, especially MGS when I'm already angry, I'd hate to kick the PS2 or something and break them. I sometimes read as well, doesn't take much skill and therefore, it shouldn't really annoy you as you can't really fail at it. Just need to be rather inactive and have time to think and I usually chill after a while.

It takes a lot to make me hit someone, but when I do, I hit them pretty hard, hurt a couple of guys like this.

Not nice to be angry, I try to stay as calm as I can, but it can be difficult sometimes.

Gene - September 22, 2007 10:16 PM (GMT)
It all depends for me im very short fused but after ive finished ranting and raving ova something im fine.

Metal_girl_Solid - September 22, 2007 10:36 PM (GMT)
I bottle it up and then months later take it out on my best friend....

But not to worry, she's trained to ignore the things I say when that happens :P

*And then we eat a lot of ice-cream*

Paper_Shapes - September 22, 2007 10:42 PM (GMT)
It's better to just let it out. If someone is pissing you off it's probably best to punch them so they know not to do it again. Implosive anger is probably more dangerous in the long term as you both run serious health risks, and the chance of doing some serious damage whe nyou finally lose your rag.
