i say yes here. you could do so many things to make it easier.

-after Wolf shoots Meryl you just need to go back in the office area of B1 of the nuke building and the PSG1-T is in the bottom left one.

-In the Tank hanger after Meryl opens the Cargo Door, on the left side of the room on the floor by each of the beams is it's power source with you can destroy in FPV.

- the trench in the canyon during the tank battle was just so you can safely hide and lob gernades. It's to cheap a solution imo.

-you can use the M9 on the first floor of the nuke building.

It was indeed way too easy. Like the first person view, and the 'cheat' on the keycards at the end.

The only thing that was more difficult were the controls, but that's only due to that clumpsy controller with the illogical controls

Without a doubt but the original would of been alot easier if you had some of the new moves, particulary first person.

Yes, there were times in the original MGS where I was on the verge of tears (Tank Hangar laser traps, NBC Building Floor 1) in TTS I can just pop them from FP or simply run as Snale is slightly faster (+ the roll)

Well, I'm only up to the Tank battle, I've been playing MGS2 and 3 mostly. I have to say though, it was a lot easier to shoot out the laser traps and Ocelot was amazingly simple, I just aimed at a certain spot in fpv and his head appeared in my line of sight every time. It does seem like a much easier game so far, I hope it gets a bit harder, but from the stuff I've been hearing, I don't think so.
I guess I will have to rely on extreme for challenges. Still fun, but the controls can sometimes make it more difficult. I'd play it, but I'm addicted to MGS2 at the moment.

i bought a gamecube purely to play it and i find the controls well easy.

fair enough the game is easier but im stull enjoying it.

just up to the sniper wolf bit. just about to sniper her ass.

lol, I bought a PSP just to play MPO, bought a WII just for Brawl to fight with Snake, and bought a PS3 purely for MGS4. The thing is still in it's box.

Because the WII has playback, is the only reason I bought TTS, and I only played trough it once. It has completely lost it's charm and is way to easy. It could have been better if they kept the controls simpler and keep them original to the psx version

I would think so because you have got all the awsome moves out of metal gear 2 ... i think

You can never beat the original. It was much harder and the storyline was brilliant.

Yes in the first one it wasn'y like you was fighting vampires or anything they were just really good soldiers. The game was harder because you didnt have all the moves i reackon if you had all the moves that was in mgs2 it would be much easier

I thought it was much easier but much more fun than the ps1 version

yep the twin snakes is alot easyer i mean like stupid things such as u can go 1st person veiw the the guns frist all of it was 3rd person witch is kinda hard on that game and u get the m9 on that version so its way easyer :)

It depends on the difficulty level first of all. Secondly, you may find it easier since you know what you are doing, having played MGS1 for the PS1. I found it easier cause I knew what to do, and there were more ways of evading enemies and new ways to take them down.

yea that game was pretty easy, it was the elements they brought in from sons of liberty that made it easier such as the fpv and the ability to destroy the cameras and laser grids and what not...i still loved it, let us see exactly what Grey Fox did to those guards in that hallway

I just bought it last night so I can play it on my Wii. Can't wait.

Yes because of the FPV. Before it took 3 shots to down a Genome but one shot to the head and they die.
