I spend a lot of time on the computer, and most of that time I am logged into at least one instant messenger.
What I've noticed recently as that people trust me. They trust me to listen to them and their problems, and they trust me to care and try my best to help.
What I've also noticed is that people usually praise me for my advice, telling me it's the best advice they've heard. let me share some quotes by various people which I have cherished very much:

these are all by separate people, some are guys, most are actually girls.

Apparently I've been given the gift of wisdom or whatever you would call being able to help people with personal problems.
This has lead me to being interested in perhaps becoming a psychiatrist. I already am fascinated with the human mind, and I think that coupled with this ability to help I would make a really good one.

Yeah I get the same sort of thing. I helped my friend nisha get over a bad drink and drug problem. I managed to book her into a rehab and its helped her a lot

I've been told by a girl that I liked that I give good advice but she was asking me about boys so my basic point was "DON'T DO IT IT'S DANGEROUS BE SINGLE".

That's great man, atleast people can come to you with their probs and know you can provide good advise. You really wouldn't want to know the advise I give People (mostly when they tell me they're bored). In the past though I confided with other members about my problems and it's always good that they listen to my nonsense and give advise when they could. Keep doing your thing man.

Its funny how some people can give insight on others people problems but yet cant figure out there own. Im not saying thats you Yak but just stating a known fact

actually that's kind of how I am.

I often look to others for advice on my problems, and find that they can't help me as well as I can help them, yet they help me more than I help myself. :wacko:

I'm a very positive person until it comes to myself, I've always expected to fail at everything because I'm scared of everything and well I don't believe in myself one bit. I have to be talked out of suicide on a monthly basis.

It's when people say stuff like that when I just feel like maybe I'm worth something
