The DGN is basically all the comics converted into a sort of animation movie, but still using the drawings. In the DGN, there is no voice acting, but there is the occaisonal soung effect here and there. DGN2 will feature voice acting. IMO, it's not worth replay value. I bought it, and only watched it once. I'd say get it on rental before buying, just to make sure that's what you want.

oh come on now SSTG, the DGN isnt that bad! lol

honestly, i like the DGN the best out of all the metal gear items to come out for PSP. its a steal at 20 bucks, the music is AWESOME, and the effects are slick, and even though the art is a little abstract, it still feels like metal gear.

its funny, i had an idea for doing a comic like this and was talking with a few people i know about it, but then kojima up and does it lol. if i had proof of my having the idea first id sue him for a copy of MGS4. :)

The memory building alone is great for the Diehards of MGS story, almost every little detail is explained in MGS 1. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit.

I think DGN was good, worth buying imo, but they really shouldn't have tried to put a game-spin on it.

you save it because you have to link events of MGS, like, I think one was Colonel Campbell, so you go into memory mode and press Campbell, and you get a memory link. Then you see a FOXHOUND sign, get the memory link, and then you link them together and get: Colonel Campbell, FOXHOUND commander-FOXHOUND. then you get campbell linked to Bib Bosss and stuff, then Big Boss gets linked to FOXHOUNd with former FOXHOUND cmmander.

And so on.
