It works, I've tried it myself. I got a special camo soldier called Stork.
Name: STORK
LIFE: 101
STMN:311
SNS: 48

Stats aren't bad, but the life is. Still, try it if you want to get that camo.
BigBoss555 - October 3, 2007 05:46 PM (GMT)
what version of the game is this?
Solid Snake The Great - October 3, 2007 06:16 PM (GMT)
It's Portable Ops Plus, as it's in the MPO+ Forum. There's only one version available at this time, so I'll leave you to work out what version it is :P
Nemesis-Wolf - April 24, 2008 05:35 PM (GMT)
I've tried the code, but it doesn't seem to work... Did you maybe write down the password wrong?
S-SnakeJ135 - April 24, 2008 07:54 PM (GMT)
Dude this is way old and that code is for the Japanese version.

*Sigh* It will only work for the Japanese version of MPO+.

He's right. ;)

I've been looking around on cheat sites for passwords and such for +, but to no avail.
What was the point in even putting the password entry screen on the PAL/NTSC versions for if the only passwords available are for the japanese version. It's kinda strange.

There will be passwords released in time. It was the same with the original MPO (at least the EU version). The game came out, for months nobody knew any passwords, now if you look, there's loads

Thats a relief, thanks. I'll be looking forward to seeing them posted on gamefaqs and such, would really like to see some of these 'magazine' soldiers that are currently named in the japanese cheats.
I don't think they'll add many character codes though, most of them you just get on portable ops, then transfer across.

Yeah. I'm expecting all MPO+ passwords to just be special camo soldiers rather than actual characters.

It'd be nice to see them add some MGS1 people, like they made old snake from mgs4, i don't see why they couldnt add solid snake, liquid snake, revolver ocelot and mantis and all them guys, that'd be cool to see.
It'd be pretty fun to have a soldier that was actually one of the metal gears too, like perhaps metal gear REX, but a super small man sized version, hah.

Maybe there will be some MGS1/2 characters (but remember Ocelot is already there, just in his younger years), but I doubt it.
And the idea of a human sized REX would be pretty fun, but it's never gonna happen lol.

I was hoping for Solid Snake from Metal Gear Ac!d. I don't know why but that would be uber badass.
S-SnakeJ135 - April 29, 2008 07:48 PM (GMT)
It's not the real Solid Snake. Ac!d version is another clone form what I have heard.
francisl92 - April 30, 2008 11:01 PM (GMT)
From what ive heard you get password for MPO+ by connecting your PSP with the ps3 while playing MGO4 i think but its unconfirmed. If it is then im fine cause my sister's boyfriend has a ps3 and he said he would let me know whne he would get MGo4

I don't think its anything like that, but i'm not certain.
It's just ac!d is non canon, so it is solid snake, but it has nothing to do with the main story of MGS. Sort of a spin off, just containing the character solid snake.
S-SnakeJ135 - May 1, 2008 12:33 PM (GMT)
I have Ac!d 2 and must say it doesn't look like Snake, more like a young Big Boss from the jaw structure, but is a clone from Snake in MGA1.

| [spoiler]Snake - The primary protagonist in Metal Gear Acid 2. The major note to make about this incarnation of the character is that he is not the "real" Solid Snake per se, but rather a full-grown clone of Solid Snake from the original Metal Gear Acid, created from cell samples taken from the Lobito Island incident. Prior to the events of the game, Snake contracts amnesia and is unable to recall his past. |
Metal-Snake - May 1, 2008 12:52 PM (GMT)
I agree he looks more bolder.
