Hi, I've been playing MGS since the second game, pretty good stuff. I decided to join this forum because nobody seemed to want to talk about the game with me except for my two cousins, which I don't see often. <_<

Anyway, enough about my personal issues, on to the cool scenes!

Most of you have probebly heard about these before, well anyway...

When on the moutain over-viewing Groznji Grad (I'm terrible at Russian spelling!), when The Boss goes away on the horse, somewhere in there, hit R1, and Snake will view through his binoculars, The Boss riding away.

Whenever you are in Alaska, shaking hands with the president, hit R1, and you will see Ocelot in the window giving you that odd hand gesture he always does!

Whenever The Boss is laying in the field near the lake, somewhere when your talkign to her, and she gives you the Patriot, hit R1, and you will see the sorrow!

Those are the only ones that have ever worked for me!

I'll talk about MGS with you! I love to talk about it, you won't have to worry about it with me. No one in my family will really talk about it with me either. :(

Yeah, I've heard of a lot of R1 scenes and done a lot of them. I didn't know you could see the Boss riding off though, I thought all you could see looking over Groznyj Grad was Eva doing Ocelot's hand gesture back at him. Other ones I have seen are Boss doing Ocelot's hand gesture back at him after the torture scene, The Sorrow appearing soon after Volgin died on the Shagohod, the Sorrow appearing again after Snake emerges from the river. Also, after falling off the Dolinovodno bridge, looking left with R1 in a cutscene, you can see where the Sorrow's corpse lies. This can also be seen in game with the Subsistence camera.

I'll see if I can find this Boss bit, must check it out. They are all the R1 scenes I can think of for the minute, besides yours. There may be more, not too sure.

Just remember, if no one will discuss MGS with you, I will. :P

Heh, no, I'm 100% English. A good or bad thing? I'm not always sure. :P
The German name came because I was talking a bit in German to a friend when I set my account up. I can't speak it, I know almost nothing. Still, I know my MGS, which is good enough for me.

Still haven't been able to think of any more hidden R1 scenes, there may be more.
Hope you find the ones I mentioned okay. Quite interesting to check them out, makes it more fun. :D

There's one more. Hit R1 when Snake salutes the Boss's grave and it will look as if he's crying (which he is supposedly).

^ Yeah, missed that out, can't believe I forgot it. Done that one many times, was always looking out for something else there. :P A pretty powerful scene.

Yes, the ones listed are hidden, as in not prompted at all. However, I think R1 may appear when you can see the Sorrow's corpse, actually. These ones here are just little things added, which can add to your enjoyment of the game. The Boss using Ocelot's hand gesture at him made me laugh.:P

It really makes me angry 'cause in my game, the R1 never shows up on the screen.

I found one. I found it kinda strange that after Snake was thrown off the rope bridge at the end of the Virtuous mission he kinda looked across the river as if he actually saw something strange, so I held R1 and moved the left analouge stick, and the skeleton of The Sorrow was there.

Yeah, ever been to the Subsistence theatre? There's like an EVA gallery where you can see her in her underwear even when she wasn't in the game, lol. It has hilarious, because it showed Snake putting Raikov into the locker at the end. XD

You can get that on Snake Eater too, you have to unlock all the other cutscenes in the Demo Theatre though.

I was wathcing the Peep Demo, and it got to the Snake/Raikov scene I was like :mellow:
