Man oh MAN this game is fun, but for the love of GOD Hard Mode stage 8 killed me twice. I'm at work now, and before the kids come back, I want to ask really quick, where the hell is the advance point in Stage 8? I was at the Harbor where there was nothing but claymores and gun cams with 5 minutes, and I was at the Security Base and had 2 minutes. I always lose all those missions, and I always lose the stats I gain from the levels before AND all the new soldiers I unlocked. I had Gurlukovich's, FOX's, remale USSR AND Three Tech Soldiers. Anyone get past this level yet?

I can't be too sure since I own the Japanese version, and ironically, I don't speak Japanese, but I think you have to stay alive until the time runs out and then the Magic X will appear somewhere randomly on the map. But as I say, I can't be sure.

Nope, once timer reaches zero, you lose everything.

Yeah the game pisses me off but is so fun at the same time. I just beat it on all the levels. I still don't have a Gurlukovich. It's so hard to get through the areas unseen though.
Anyways, watch out for losing your special characters. Once they die they are gone.

I know, I just want to figure how to get past stage 8 on Hard.

Sorry I probably sound stupid, but oh well. Timed missions all I do is just run. I don't worry about claymores or cameras. If I see the claymores, I'll lay on them and pick them up. My timed missions are always in enclosed areas so I don't know what to tell you. Everything is pretty visible when you are running the halls of the med lab.

Only temporarily. You can find them again in Hard and Extreme modes. If you really want them back.

Yeah, they'll come up on the map as prisoners, so you'll have to free them. ;)
