Ok so hears the story, I am playing as raiden but i cant get past variety level 7 can anyone give me any tips or anything like that please?

Yeah, I already told you how to get past this one, but for anyone else, this will help. I remember having some trouble with Zako a long time ago, but have got a lot better since. The first battle is easy, of course. If you can't beat 1 guy, you're not going very far in MGS2. :lol:
The second lot of soldiers is pretty simple too, just take cover, fire when you get a chance and go for the head. Try to pick up the rations to make these battles easier.
The tengus and soldiers will be a little tougher, but there are ways. Work out where they land from jumps and wait there with coolant. Spray it in their faces and then quickly headshot them.
When they're all taken care of, same strategy as before.

For the big guy at the end, you can either fire at him with the stinger until targets appear in his body. Shoot these out and once you've done them all, he'll die. There is a quicker and easier way though. When the battle starts, run to the tall box in front of you and press up against it. He'll fire at it and break it to reveal a book. Pick it up and place it on the ground, making sure to keep standing over it and he'll lock onto you and fire, but instead of hitting you, he'll stare at the book, have some sort of fit and die.
