Title: How do you know?

angel_in_the_dark - November 26, 2007 03:15 PM (GMT)
How do do know when someone likes you?

Is it the way they look at you when you pass by?
Or the way they smile in your direction?

Maybe it's the way they walk you to your class,
The way you talk to one another,
Or is it the way they eagerly agree to meet you after class, or after school?

How do you when you're more than friends?

Is it like when you're sad and they sit with you until they dry your tears?
Or the way they joke around, saying how perfect you are to them?

Could it even be the way you're always the one they take to the dance,
The fact that you two spend more time together than anyone else,
Or how they promise to be there for you no matter what?

How can you tell someone loves you, and it's real?

Is it the way they say "i love you?"
Or they way they take your breath away?

Can it be the touch of their kiss,
The way they hold you in their arms,
Or the way you know in your heart, that you cannot live without them?

Wrong forum.

Lacks flow.

Lacks originality.

Lacks drive.

And moreover, it lacks anything that would even remotely separate it from your usual fare. What am I meant to say about it?

Yes, Angel, I have a poetry and lyrics section for a reason. Meh, no harm done, I'll just move it in the proper section. :thumb:

And for future reference, please post all poems in th:thumb:e poetry and lyrics section, thank you.

I don't mean this in a bad way, but I felt I was reading the blurb to some sort of self help book.

sorry 'bout that......just wasn't quite sure what kind of work it'd become in the end, it wasn't until later i realized it was more poetry than just a simple thought.. .
