I take it theres a new Batman movie coming soon, looks good from the two images I've seen, more realistic than the others, which in my opinion is what the Batman franchise really needs.

Yes there is a new Batman Movie. Only this time it doesn't have the title "Batman" Instead it is called The Dark Knight, it's a direct sequel to Batman Begins, and still features the cast of that movie except Maggie Gyllenhaul now plays Rachel Dawes instead of Katie Holmes.

The first real preview of the movie will be on December 14 featured at IMAX screenings of the I AM LEGEND movie. It will show the first 5 minutes of the film in IMAX!

Cannot wait for The Dark Knight, lets hope it can be as good as the first in the new series.

I think this was how Joker SHOULD have been in the first Batman. Nicholson did a great job, but I feel his character wasn't DERANGED enough, which surprises me considering how deranged Nicholson himself is. And that Ledger will do a great job as the new deranged and crazed Joker.

Look's awesome (movie and pictures). I love the Batman suit. The only problem I can with that will happen is that Heath Ledger will do a good job as joker. I don't think anyone will top Nicholson

I liked Nicholson as the Joker in the original Batman movie. My favorite Joker is Mark Hamill's from Batman The Animated Series, but that was only the voice (which was amazing).

Anyways, I hope this is good. I was kinda hoping it would start off with the Joker as a normal criminal at the beginning of the movie, like in the original, but it doesn't look that way.

Another thing, am I to understand correctly that it is only makeup on the Joker's skin? If so that is lame.

Why is that lame? It's more realistic then falling in a chemical waste vat and going crazy. If you fell into a vat of chemicals you would probably get your skin bleached but you know what else would happen? You'd die.

No kidding..

But seriously, I like the skin bleached Joker. It is really cool. If they are going for a realistic approach to everything, then a lot of the characters from Batman's rogue's gallery could never be seen in the movie. I like the different, unrealistic approach to the characters. That's what it is about.

This means that if the Joker was thrown in a puddle, or if it started raining, he wouldn't be the Joker anymore. He would just be some criminal in a purple suit.

The green hair, red lips, and white skin are all what the Joker is, in my opinion. But then again, it is just that. My opinion.

Well they've stated that he never reaplies his makeup in this movie, so it gets worse and eventually resembles an infection. I don't know I did like the chemical bleached thing but you already got Jack Nicholson and if you want to see The Joker that is most original to the comics go watch the fan film Patient J.

Hey guys, is this just a promo picture or is this what the Joker is going to look like at the beginning of the movie? Solid Turd said he never reapplies the makeup, so I'm not sure what to think. This is an official Warner Bro's picture, so I would think it would be true, but that isn't the Joker we see in all the other pictures. Either way, I think this one looks a lot more badass and evil.

Anyways, I still like that better. It does looks clownlike. If it had red lips it would look even more so.. Anyways, I still like it better than the Joker we have now. Don't get me wrong, I have always loved Batman and can not wait for this movie. I think it's going to be excellent, and this Joker in the movie looks good.

As I look at the picture, it really does look evil with the paint showing through some. This movie is going to be great.

That is a photoshopped picture of Conrad Veidt from the 1928 silent film: The Man Who Laughs. Thats where the original concept of the Joker came from. In other words no it isn't official.

Hmm, it's alright, I would have preferred something of the new Joker seeing as how they've been leaking alot of images of him recently, the poster just seems bland at the moment.

Dammit they showed early screenings of the Joker's origin yesterday and no one has leaked them yet.

It think his origins would be kinda obvious: something bad happened in his life, made him unstable, he's now a fucking looney who puts on makeup and kills people.

But regardless, the Joker is by far the best villian in the Batman universe.

I don't think so. Some people are just born with Sociopathic behavior. I wouldn't dought it if he was simply born that way. And throughout his youth he leaned to towards the Punk Rock style fads, which eventually led him to beleive in totally Anarchy.

I dunno if this is true or not, but I heard that the mad doctor who had the scarecrow mask becomes the Joker, could well be as he could have escaped when the convicts in the asylum were released. Just what I heard, could be rubbish.

I doubt that very much, the way Gordon presented the card and crimes to batman made me think that Joker has been active for some time, Crane was pretty busy and well funded by Ra's so I doubt he would have needed to knock off any banks.

Scarecrow is Scarecrow, he is not The Joker. They are two totally different characters.

I can't wait for this to come out i loved batman begins it was really dark just like how batman is ment to be, and not light and puffy like adam west.

Wow, i love the new batmobile i think it looked real mean in the last movie and im glad to see its back.

I like the new bat suit, it reminds me of the first suit before it was painted black. Although in that picture the cowl looks a bit off, but I think it is just the angle his head is at, because in other pictures it doesn't look that way.

Also I want to know what the deal is with the multiple people in bat suits. It looks like one of them is the suit from the last movie but the others look weird. Maybe the Joker has his goons dress up as Batman to rob something? Or maybe it was just stunt people and stand-ins? Regardless this will be an awesome movie. I think some footage needs to leak :P
