Why do you stick around here? Friends? For MGS? For debating? For drama? Or for shits and giggles?

I stick around for shits and giggles basically. Because I like sharing stories and posting them here, namely Second Skin or Ground Zero, or CTTA, or the org interactive stories I'll be making. That and the MGSF Plus comic, which I'll be updating sooner or later, preferably later. :lol:

I like amusing people with humor through the comics, or the intensity within the stories.

I'm 29, I'm kinda a bit older than most members, I don't make friends with people over the internet, especially when most people here are like 10 to 15 years younger than me. If I did make friends for that, I'd be in jail by now, wouldn't ya think? :ph43r:

So how about you guys? Why do you stick around?

Not sure this has been my first forum and I enjoy reading some of the stuff the forum churns out. I usually stay away from arguments though :unsure:

And also the fact that it houses some of the world's most fanatical fans of MGS.

Mostly for friends and the shits and giggles...

To tell you the truth, I only come here because its a bad habit. I really think I've overstayed myself and don't belong here anymore... (Hence why I tend to lurk around and not post too much.) People have lost all respect for me; I don't think I'm really all that welcome here.

Another reason is because the quality of this place has dropped to a low. Everything just feels rotted out and melodramatic. I remeber people/staffites being more carefree, and lax.

Sorry to make this depressing post, but it's how I feel. :(

Its interesting to talk to people and get to know people from around the world. And i also like the good debating on the forum and how almost everyone knows just as much or more about metal gear than i do.

i enjoy talking to people who are as passionate about metal gear as i am, iv never met n e one else in person who has that same deep interest as i do (with the exeption of my best friend). which is y i come here to talk to you guys, and y this is my home page. iv not been a member long but have enjoyed my time posting on the forums. and not just the MGS aspect of things, all the other types of threads aswell:) its a great place to discuss all kinds of things. so i guess thats y im here lol :thumb:

Really, though, I stay because I like Metal Gear Solid, I like the members here, and I enjoy admining.

This was the first proper forum that I joined...... some of the members that have been around here for as long as I have will recall how I got here. Given that Solidus is away, I can't let him share the story..... another day! ^_^

In all seriousness, I originally stayed to learn more about MGS, but now I don't think there is much more for me to learn, other than MGS4. I basically stick around for the guys in TSF and just because there are many other people that I like on the forum.

I come on here everyday. Partly because I feel like its Home to be around people that have the same interest as me and we all are fans of Metal Gear solid. There is alot you can learn from people in the world and this is one of the places that it can happen. I love reading other peoples views such as how they play the games Killing or no Killing. I reckon it will get even better with the release of MGS4

I am here for Shits and giggles, and friends. I like to be here cause you people have the same interests like me.

I stick around for the people I have come to know on here, also for the organisation I am part of, and I also feel a sense of loyalty to this forum.

There's an interesting bunch of people on this forum who I like to chat with and share my opinions. And of course, I'm also here for the shits and giggles. :lol:

Good question, I don't know if I can even answer that.
I don't check out the MGS forums which is like the whole reason for this forum-site, and I wouldn't say I have any friends that I've made on here (although one time I almost did)
so I dunno, it's probably just because I love conversation and this is another way to talk to people about stuff

I stick around here for the MGS, I love to get challenges from people, although this doesn't happen often and I enjoy talking about my favourite games on here.

Yes though, I have made a lot of friends on this forum, and I like that side of it as well.
It's my first forum, the one I visit the most, and a lot of people on here are great to talk to.
It's always great fun on here, only criticism is not enough people talk about MGS very much.

to tell you the truth this is the first time I knew about forums and stuff. I really loved Metal Gear and I decided I would stick around and stuff, I just want to meet guys on the net from different places around the world and I like to share my opinions with you, and makes me become a worldwide thinker and its basically for everything and I don't regret staying here :lol:

I stick around because I can. I don't like drama, and I'm not too bothered about making friends (although if I do, all the better) and I don't madly post about Metal Gear Solid. Also, it's nice to talk to other people once in a while.

I guess I would fall in the shitting and giggling bit.

Im mostly on here because my Advertisiing and Design class is 2 and a half fucking hours long and we sit at a computer the entire time and do whatver the hell we want. Plus its cool to talk about MGS with people that like and understand the game as much as you do. I mean dont get me wrong im no fan-boy. I had MGS3 for two days before i actually played it becuase i was out with my firends doing stuff with my life. Well...kinda.

And all of the Other-talk forums are amusing and I get a pretty good laugh out of some of the stuff people say and just....internet/forum humor i guess.

Ask for friends on forums? When you go on sites that has everything you love and 5000 other people are on the same site your bound to find someone that you just like more than others and if they weren't in another contry you would love to chill with or get wasted or whatever ( And yes i am making a reference to you Blue Phoenix you remind me so much of one of my best bros who looks just like you and shares the same name.)

So yeah anyways, Rock amd fucking roll MGSF! B)
