Title: Breaking The Chain

Soriddo Suneku - December 18, 2007 11:14 AM (GMT)
What a waste
Castaways in disgrace
We've had no place
Since the dawn of the human race

Blank stairs
Accompany our face
Hungry for something
Maybe just a little taste

Something thats real...
An escape from this empty gray waste

That you can't steal...
To help us run from this goddamn dreaded fate

Something thats more
Open the door
To something for...
A respite from this world gone fucking mad!

How we adore
Our cuts and sores
From cutthroat whores
Give us some solice from this land gone bad

No escape
From this daily rape
Maybe make a dollar
If we get it on tape

Right now
We could figure a way out
We'll fight, we'll bite
We'll scream and shout

Some way
Some better day
If we fight like Hell
We can make it

Someday, we can make it pay
We can cut it
We can bleed it
We can break it

Scratch through the surface
Cut the blood flow
Don't be too hasty
Let it bleed slow

Severing the spine
Starving the pain
The virus runs it's course
And we break the chain

Great stuff as usual Sor, felt like some V for Vendetta stuff (unless I read it in a whole different way). In a sense it sounds like your saying break away from the norm or mundane that has been set for us, atleast that's how I interpretted it. Keep em coming man, always a good read.

I like it, it moves very rythmically, even just when reading it in my head.

Agree with you there Sad, it is somewhat V for Vendettaish.

Nice one.

I'm thinking of getting a Punk band together.

If that happens, is it alright to use these lyrics? I've got an idea in my head. :)

The lyrics are awesome though, good job as always.

Nicely done.

To me, it was like intense thoughts presenting themselves in a slightly ambiguous nature; however, the point gets across. You have to think about how everything fits in, but even than, it's not all clear... yet, only then does the material gain its own shape in the way it does.

That may sound weird, but it's the way I see it. ...I'm strange.
