Description: Vote your fave movie adaptation

Each vote counts for any individual movie whithin the chosen franchise that you like.

I would vote for AVP if it were up there, not because of the film (and you'll see why when I get to Resident Evil...) because while it does butcher the Predators, reducing them to retarded 3 year olds (Gill gets killed because he is checking out that ugly chick, Celtic gets killed because he forgets about the acid blood (after having his armor melted by it) and Scar gets killed because he's checking out that ugly chick) it does represent the aliens as what they were in the films, videogames and the comics.

Spiderman is not Spiderman, it's Peter Parker's Lovelife.

The newer Batman is cool, but it's a mish mash of the comics without a true inspiration, it mainly comes from Frank Millers work but it doesn't really focus on that which means it's somewhat confusing if your trying to source it for a media essay, as I have tried, damn you Nolan! Make it easier for me!

The rest (Sin City and that Street Fighter anime they did aside) are just bad, the Resident Evil films are terrible, in fact they aren't even Resident Evil films, they're "I'm Milla Jovovich look how hot I am", but then again I just don't like Paul W S Anderson or his films. Bastard.

So true, at the end every spiderman movie he had to save Mary Jane.
If i had a pound for everytime he shouted MARY JANE! i'd be rich lol
And were was Venom in 3? I didn't see him cept for a skinny fake looking Eddie Brock in a muscle suit.
But even so that's proberbly the best choice up there lol.

How come FF: Spirits Within but not FF: Advent Children. I'm not one to go with the whole "FFVII" Is the best FF Ever...cause I don't think so. But that movie was great.

snakeinthegear - December 24, 2007 01:19 PM (GMT)
I agree with the spider-man thing. I can't stand those movies and I'm a die hard spidey fan. Sam Raimi simply doesn't get spider-man and succeeded in butchering the title character along with everyone else. Killing off Doc Ock was dumb, the constant unmasking, MJ perpetually in trouble in every public spectacle, the accusations of spider-man being hated by the city but there isn't a shred of evidence to support this, the overplayed, boring mellowdrama lacks excitement and tension and the action for the most part is short lived. Also, peter parker comes off as an idiot as opposed to the foward thinking, science genius that he's supposed to be.

I really hope we get a new director and cast for sm4.

While I'll go ahead and admit that I don't read Spider Man comic books I'm still saying that Spider Man 2 was and still is the greatest superhero movie of all time.

Solid Turd - December 24, 2007 05:12 PM (GMT)
Instead of Spirits Within, you should have done Advent Children.

JCC - December 24, 2007 05:17 PM (GMT)
Yeah, if Advent Children was up there, I would've voted for it.

Not the greatest film by a long shot, but the best out of those.

FearHeldDear - December 24, 2007 05:38 PM (GMT)
Batman, Batman Returns, and Batman Begins > You.

doubleo sigint - December 24, 2007 06:29 PM (GMT)
Advent children? didn't even know there was such a film is it that good? were would they sell it, aint seen it around.

solidfox - December 24, 2007 06:46 PM (GMT)
been out for a while...aparently people skipped over my post and waited for somebody else to bring it up.... >.>

Its the sequal to FFVII.

Roy Campbell - December 24, 2007 08:13 PM (GMT)
I liked Spawn, probably my favorite out of that lot.

Like others have said before me, if it was up there definatly Advent Children. You can find it in all good retailers, just go to a HMV or the like.

How could you forget TDK? Then agian it isn't out yet. *maniacle laugh*

Yeah Batman all the way!

Muikuli - December 24, 2007 09:09 PM (GMT)
Some of those were fine, some weren't, hard to choose the best though.

FF: Spirit's Within was terrible, but Advent Children was alright. Ghost Rider, Spiderman and Hulk were all bad. Batman Begins and Sin City were decent.

Anyway, I don't really care to vote for this. None of the better one's stand out as excellent.

MGS4_Raiden - December 24, 2007 09:14 PM (GMT)
Transformers all the way.
