Okay, So I've long come to grips with the fact that Subsistence online is gone and has been for some time.

Yet, I feel let down whenever I put in Disc 2. Sure I could shoot some monkeys for an hour, or Duel it out with some bosses, but once you get the top times in these modes... the novelty wears thin. I am grateful that Kojima included MSX Metal Gear games, but again, a couple plays through and yup... done with that.

I guess what I'm getting at is... WTF! The online gameplay wasn't exactly perfect, but it was really fun actually playing against other Metal Gear players. I really wish that they would just put the server back up... even if it was only until MGO comes out. Am I the only one who tries to connect every once and a while... just to see if it'll go through... only to shake my head?

I guess PSP will have to do. AAAAHHHH no Right analog stick!!!!!!

I have never played Subsistence online but I do share your pain. I really wanted to play it as well.

ARE YOU KIDDING! I just got a new house and finally got my network set up, and I was just planning on getting the PS2 hooked up for online play in a few days! I have played online mode before and I loved it. That sucks. What happened?! Will this Happen to Portable Ops in the Future?! I'm not a heavy gamer but I have never heard of any online multiplayer game shutting down its servers for good!

what if the internet tells you there is and error i keep getting this when i try playing online so i've never been able to.
