No, you don't get any rewards for completing Snake Tales, except the M9 on your next playthrough of your completed and saved tale. Having said this, they're a lot of fun, to play and listen to the story.
Oh, and I suggest you check the Snake Tales leaderboard out, we have a lot of fun there, and hopefully you would too.

I have to ask this, since this is slightly in topic and I havent understood the answer myself yet: Is "Snake tales" basicly just fiction storys, wich has nothing to do with the actual MG storyline, or are they kinda like the bacground story of what Snake did while Big Shell Incident? :huh:

they have nothing to do with the official story what so ever. think of it as a fanfic.
i was expecting it to be the bigshell incident from Snake perspective but when i played it and realised it wasn't i was disappointed. but it is still a fun play, all the text reading is irritating, i only read them twice.

The Snake Tales are interesting, but it would be a lot better if it would be the Big shell incident in Snakes perspective.

Yeah, I too thought that Substance would bring us the Big Shell story from Snake's narration, but I think the Snake Tales are funny and interesting to play, even if you ain't rewarded when they are completed.

But you are rewarded (in a way). You get to use the M9 in the Snake Tale you completed.
