Can anyone get VR missions to work on PS3? I can get the MGS to work fine, and when I boot up VR it all works ok, until it asks you to put in the MGS disk. When I do this it doesn't seem to work. It's not the disk, 'cus I've got two copies and neither work! Is it the emulater the PS3 uses or something? Does anyone know?
is something wrong with the disk, like a scratch or something
Which PS3 do you have? I just tried my VR missions and it works fine. MGS1 does too.

Make sure your PS3 is backwards compatible, for example, pretty much every PS3 is backwards compatible BUT the 40 Gigs, and some games might not work on PS3 yet, the PS3 is still being updated, meaning you can only update it if you have an Ethernet internet connection to plug into the back, it will most likely ask you if you want to download the update for more backwards capability, hope that helped.
All PS3 versions are compatible with PS1 games. The PS2 BC is the issue with some.
