(The jungle. A helicopter descends. A man leaps out and opens his parachute, gliding slowly to the ground. He removes the parachute and takes out a cigarette. His Codec beeps.)
Otacon: Snake, you landed safely? Wait a minute, cigarettes again?
Snake: Like I said before, lucky charm.
Otacon: Won't be so lucky when you get cancer. Ok Snake, a group of terrorists calling themselves the Shadow Claw have managed to steal blueprints for Metal Gear and are creating their own version. Their goal is simple: hold the governments of the world ransom so they can fill their pockets.
Snake: Soldiers seeking wealth and power? Thats low.
Otacon: Yeah, I can't understand why they threaten innocent lives either. Anyway, from what we've been able to gather, there should be an old bunker to the east of your current location. There should be a lift inside that'll take you to an underground base. Thats where Metal Gear is. The objective is to sabotage Metal Gear and destroy any blueprints to its design, to ensure no-one makes another. If you need to contact me, my frequency is...
Snake: I know your damn frequency! Stop reminding me!
Otacon: Hey, I'm just making sure, ok? Now you should get going.
Snake: Right.
(Snake takes his Socom pistol and moves cautiously through the jungle. In space, a mysterious space craft is moving into the Earth's atmosphere. A pod is launched from it, moving towards the jungle. It smashes to the ground with a massive thud. Snake hears it.)
Snake: Otacon, I heard something nearby. Sounded like an explosion. I'm gonna check it out.
Otacon: Roger, be carful Snake.
(Snake changes direction and heads towards the area where he heard the impact. The pod is sat upright in the ground. It opens up at the front, and a large figure emerges. It looks around the area and then moves to the back of the pod. there is a keypad. Monsterous fingers enter a code and a compartment opens, with weapons and supplies. It removes them, placing a mask over its face that hisses when in place. It takes a gun and mounts it on its shoulder. Razor sharp discs are placed on the left side of its belt, and a retractible spear is on the right. It tests to see if its wristblades work properly, then turns invisible, running to the east. Snake arrives a moment later.)
Snake: What the hell is that?
Otacon: What is is Snake?
Snake: Some kind of...pod or something.
(Snake examines the pod in detail)
Snake: Its got writting on it that I don't recognise.
Otacon: Snake, I'm sure this is very fascinating, but Metal Gear comes first.
Snake: Hmm. Maybe you're right. Resuming mission.
(Elsewhere, a bunker. A group of soldiers are patrolling, guarding the enterance. One of them hears some russeling from the trees.)
Soldier1: There's something there.
Soldier2: Probably a rabbit or something.
Soldier1: I'm gonna check it out.
(Soldier moves towards the trees. He sweeps the area with his gun as he goes. Everything is quite. Suddenly, an invisible blade pierces his heart, and he is dead within seconds.)
Soldier2: Hey Rick, you satisfied yet? Hey Rick!
(Soldier2 moves towards the trees)
Soldier2: Rick?
(A razor disc flies towards him, decapitating him. The invisible figure moves slowly to the body, taking the head and moving back into the cover of the trees. The figure took them out so quitely and efficiently, the other soldiers don't notice. Snake gets closer to the bunker. Suddenly, sound of screaming and gunfire can be heard, followed by and explosion. Snake moves with haste, and discovers that the ground is littered with corpses. All the soldiers patrolling the enterance are dead.)
Snake: Otacon, all the soldiers outside are dead. Someone else is here.
Otacon: What? Someone else?
Snake: Looks like it. Well, at least I don't have to fight these guys.
Otacon: Well, thats true. But if someone is tough enough to take out these soldiers and they aren't on our side...
Snake: Yeah, its a risk alright.
Otacon: What you need to do now Snake is enter a code to get into the bunker. The code is...
Snake: No need Otacon.
Otacon: Huh? Why not?
Snake: Someones made their own door.
(The enterance has a large smoking hole in it, large enough for a person.)

More coming soon! ^_^
Interesting story, can't wait to read the next part.
This sounds like the makings of something much better than AVP2, hehe. Nice work bud.
(Bottom of the lift to the base. A group of soldiers are stood, exammining the area. One man with short brown hair and a scar on his right eye is with them. His name is Talon. The lift is damaged, the controls destroyed. Corpses litter the ground, blood on the walls and the floor)
Talon: How could this have happened? How can anyone have gotten here without being noticed? Have you been able to establish contact with the guards outside?
Soldier: No sir, they missed their scheduled status report. I can't get them on the radio.
Talon: So, whoever this is killed the guards up top, broke into the bunker, got to the bottom without using the lift, sabotaged the lift then killed the men down here? No one man could do this! Clear up the bodies, get an engineering team down here to repair the lift.
(Snake walks along a corridor and reaches a lift. The doors have been smashed, a large hole is visible on the floor of the lift. The controls have been smashed.)
Snake: Damn! Good thing I brought some rope.
(Snake takes out some rope and slowly shimmeys down to the bottom. He surveys the area, noticing blood stains on the walls. The bodies have been removed.)
Snake: Otacon, I've made it to the base.
Otacon: Roger Snake. Make you're way inside, you should find Metal Gear.
Snake: Our mystery guest has been busy. More of the terrorists have been killed.
Otacon: What does this guy want?
Snake: Don't really know. Either hes a maniac or suicidal.
Otacon: The stealth camo should make it easier for you to sneak through, the place is very heavily guarded.
Snake: Ok.
(Snake activates the stealth camo, proceeding through the base. He walks through several corridors, avoiding guards and enters through some doors leading to a large hangar. Inside, Metal Gear stands. It is similar to REX, but with twin machine guns for arms. No radar dome is visible and it is a dark green.)
Snake: Metal Gear! I found it.
(Snake observes that there is ladder leading to a second level. On the second level is a control room, which sits behind Metal Gear. Snake silently climbs the ladder and moves across the platform, avoiding soldiers as he goes. He spots a large door to his right, with 'LABORATORY' written on it. The door opens automatically at Snake's approach. Inside, a group of scientists are stood beside equipment and computers, but they are not alone. There attention is focused on Talon, holding a gun. He is addressing a young female scientist with short blonde hair.)
Talon: I'm afraid that I am not satisfied with your answer, doctor.
Doctor: Please, you have to understand! Metal Gear's systems have been locked with a security code that is difficult to break! It may take days, even weeks to descifer it!
Talon: I'm sorry to hear that.
(He points the gun at the doctor, then at an another scientist. He fires, killing him with a headshot. The scientist gasp and scream with fear.)
Talon: I hope that will motivate you to try harder.
(Talon leaves. Snake silently steps aside to let him through. As soon as the door closes, he disengages his stealth camo. The scientists are shocked at first.)
Snake: Don't be afraid, I'm not here to harm you.
Doctor (blonde): Who are you?
Snake: My name is Snake. I'm here on a mission to destroy Metal Gear.
Doctor: By yourself?
Snake: Wouldn't be the first time. I need to find out how to permanently disable it, but I'll need your help to do it.
Doctor: Normally, I would help you but there is nothing I can do. My father, Dr. Carowski has entered a security code into Metal Gear that prevents anyone from using it.
Snake: Why?
Doctor: He didn't want to be remembered as a scientist who created a weapon of mass destruction. Without the code, Metal Gear cannot be used. The armour of Metal Gear is too strong to be destroyed by any type of explosive short of a nuclear device, but the cockpit itself can be destroyed. All you would need is the code to shut ofo the security lock, and then you can open the cockpit.
Snake: Your father is still alive?
Doctor: Yes, he is being held in one of the prison cells.
Snake: How do I get there?
(Prison. A young female soldier with long black hair and green eyes is sat in a jail cell. The door to the prison opens, two soldiers drag an unconscious man in a lab coat across the floor and throw him into the cell next to hers.)
Female soldier: Hey! Go easy on him you bastards! Don't you think you've hurt him enough?
Soldier: Shut up!
Female soldier: If I wasn't behind bars, I'd kick your ass!
(Suddenly, the prison door opens. The guards turn, but see nothing there. The door closes a moment later. Suddenly, an invisible blade goes through the head of one of the soldiers, and with a mighty pull, the head is ripped off his shoulders. The second soldier fires randomly at thin air, yelling and panicing. He stops for a moment, breathing heavily. The head of the dead soldier sits on its side staring into space. There is a powerful slash, and the second soldier is sliced in two, the top part of his body falling to the ground, seperated at the torso. The female soldier watches in horror as the invisible figure rips the head off the second victim.)
