Title: Playing Subsistence MGO Again?

So does anyone know a way to get this game running again? Is it possible to get it up and running through a LAN setting, or maybe using a computer as a server? I've got a couple friends who are really itching to play it again, cuz MPO just isn't quite as good. No way i can afford a PS3 for MGO either.
Any hackers out there help me out?

There are many ways many have tried, it has been shut down EVERYWHERE, in Europe it was shut down on October 31st 2006 I believe. There is no LAN Connection with the game either. This is mainly due to more sales to the Portable Ops version, thus leaving it Online.

it's been shut down and will probably remain that way,as stated above mpo has had good sales,and alot of people playing on it

If somebody took some server logs through a proxy, it could be brought back.

If you played and remember the name "Redwings" I heard he got a server and is going to be using it to bring back MGO, I'll inform you more about it when I hear about it and if it's reliable or not.

Id absolutely love an opportunity to play MGO again, but it would only be a treat for those who cant play MGS4/MGO2. Once youve got that, Subsistence Online is pretty much obsolete.

Ohhh... I absolutely loved MGO with a deep fiery passion. That game kept me and my friend up all night for literally 7 hours non stop

You know even when the MGO2.0 finally goes live for realz (the Beta being over), I'd even
play the old MGO---as I too loved it that much. I wonder if let's say this RedWings character
followed through and was somehow able to put it back together, if he/she would also be
able to track stats as well?
But just the though of having the old MGO back makes me smile...
