I think there is an improvement since the pilot edition. This one was more of a proper podcast than the pilot yet still the humour is there.

Good stuff guys. What did you christen my second name Sad!? I'll see if I can get it changed for the forum. I actually quite enjoy these podcasts, I'm going to make an effort to listen to these every week if you guys keep dedicated.

when we switch to zeta boards will we still have the same website name im a bit confused about this?

@wertwile: Yes, it will just be different forum software. Nothing will really change for the average users - nothing substantial anyway. It's more robust on the administrative side of things, though, which is the primary reason to shift things over. Things you'll notice immediately are prettier URLs, a bit more control over your profile, online/offline indicators, and a native avatar gallery.

Even better then the previous one guys so well done :D My only gripe being the absense of any MGSF history and the shortness of the questions section. Maybe stick a link for the podcast on the main page (with an image) like the MGSF amazon stores.

A couple things:

Since this is now our official podcast, the Ryan Payton thing at the beginning should probably go. However you may feel about the guy, he's just trying to do his job. I'm sure both of you can sympathize with that being/having been staff members.

Second, an idea I had for MGSF History would be an 'MGSF Legends' segment. There are some members on the board I have in mind who've been around for quite some time, and it might be cool to ask them for an interview.

I had the sorta same feel for the opening. I'm currently working on a new one but it won't be a definite start up for MGSF podcast. "This is MGSF (bitch)" will stay in all but I'll sometimes change the beginning just to be fresh and if I have time to look around for sound bites and edit things together.

I wanted to have guests on the show as well but the shitty recording program I have only allows 2 people to speak at a time while it's recording. So I'm sorta stuck on that one unless someone points me in the direction of a new one or if that guest member has a recording program himself so they can talk to Tam (he's the expert on MGSF) and probably send the file to me for small editing.

By "interview" I guess I meant more of a PM/MSN-style interview and you guys do a little feature on that and talk about the member. A voice interview would be nice, but it's not worth it if it's a hassle.

No offence to sadistic_greyfox, but could you drop the odd way of talking that you kinda drop into sometimes.... really hard to explain over the net. But no offence.
Overall the podcast is very good.

I don't understand how it would be bad if MGS4 is released around GTA4 though... Does MGS fans suddenly forget that MGS4 is comming out if GTA4 is comming out around the same time???

You're gonna have to be more clear, I'm afraid.

Because the vast majority of attention will be focused on GTAIV leaving little hope for MGS4? Konami are trying to gather new fans with MGS4, but if all attention is on GTA, that's going to be very hard to pull off.

Could you maybe rephrase that? You're wording makes little sense.

Perhaps beacuase everyone else will? You have to realise, people don't have bags of money and arn't going to pick up an additional game when a behmoth such as GTA4 comes out (which I might add lots of companies are depending on to shift a lot more 360/PS3 units before they release their own games).

With the odd way of talking:
It's like..eh.. like his voice sometimes get deeper and he starts talking slower, or something, but again a bit hard to explain.

The GTA4 part:
GTA4 comes out 29th of April, so if MGS4 comes out close to the that date, it's like people forget all about MGS4 because GTA4 has a bigger fanbase???

I'm not gonna change the way I sound to make others happy, by changing myself that's not me your hearing, it's what you think I should be. If you guys were paying me then yeah I might have changed it up but when your getting something for free you can't exactly go around telling people to change the way they sound.
