hey, just wondering if anyone here was a fan of the original digimon world for ps1, i used to love that game, i think i sold it though, only problems was the short life span of your animals and the fact they needed a shit every 2minutes! personally though was a much better game than the pokemon games (although i did love the gameboy versions)
has anyone played any of the other digimon games on ps1? the DS? and have you's heard about Digimon online which is aparently planned to be released later this year on ps3? cant wait for that! (if its true)

I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but I like the game. I have never completed it though.
Bought it again on ebay a couple of months ago.

yeah i know wat u mean, its one of those games ive bought about 4 times now haha, i buy it, play it for ages, decide its rubbish, sell it then a few months later i get cravings for it again and buy it back off my local games retailer haha

I still have Digimon World 1 & 2. I haven't played them in probably 6 or 7 years, I remember them being boring as hell.

One of my favourite games ever! ...from my childhood, anyway. I downloaded it the other day, been playing it on my laptop. It is both win and fail, lots of grinding and glitches but still good ol' fashion fun. I have an Angemon at the moment, and about 50 dudes in my city, kinda losing interest though...

Hmm, I typed that post in like 2 seconds, guess I'm a little too excited- but what the hell, it's Digimon! Woo!

Oh my lord the power of christ compels you how the hell can you possibly like this game . It was terrible the combat system was horrible and the didgimon itself was extremely annoying.

Your halfway through a quest it gets hungry and you have no food forcing you to leave and grab some mushroom or meat or whatever.

Whats even worse is the fact it dies all the time. Jesus you spend forever trying to turn it into the perfect digimon and it dies within 30 mins of you evolving it to that level forcing you to get a digimon back at stage 1.

Anyone who has the patience to play this thing and finish it isnt human or has way too much time on their hands

When you think about it, it's pretty much like WoW- sit-there-and-do-nothing combat, die all the time (Heal! HEAL!!! God damn it!) and, of course, grinding.

Endless grinding.

But I still like it, it's appealing and nostalgic to me. :)

And friggin' Vegemon gives you 3 Sirloins a day, more than enough to feed your pet. So there. -_-

When I was a kid, I had Digimon World 2 for the PS. It is a great game, but I never completed it :(
