Will I be the only one here that wont be able to play mgs4 when it comes out? I dont think I will buy a ps3 until the price drops, I think I may be in the minority with that.

I doubt I'll get it the first day...maybe :lol: I wonder how much a PS4 is gonna cost though? PS3 costs enough as it is :P

I actually think PS3 owners are the minority, last time I checked there were only 7 PS3 owners who I would consider members and many more non-PS3 users.

I'm with you, skywalker. I won't be playing MGS4 until atleast a couple weeks after it comes out. I'm waiting for the PS3 price to drop as well. I've got more than enough money in the bank right now to go out and grab one, but there's a lot of other things I need to spend that on.

Sorry about the confusion if there was any in my first post, I meant ps3, not ps4. I have plenty of money to buy a ps3, its just kind of dumb for me to spend that much on a video game consol. I hope there will still be interest in duel mode and speed runs on mgs3. The only thing that is nice about the ps3 though is that if I get an hd tv I could use it for blue ray dvd's as well.

I'm not that sure, actually. I hope I have enough money for the thing in time, I'm praying my Mum will lend me a bit.
Though to tell you the truth, I'm not as hyped as I once was for MGS4, and I think if I missed out on release day, I wouldn't worry too much, just play the others until I found the money.

And the 40 gig thing over here is damn annoying. I want to play mostly PS2 games, I hardly want anything on the PS3. And no backwards computability just makes me mad.

Skywalker - I'll always be there man, ready to duel and whatever else we can can do for challenges in MGS3. And I hope there'll be others too, everyone is and will still be welcome with the release of MGS4, when we can add that in as well. There's a place in the leaderboards for everyone. :D

However, I am defiantly keeping off the internet as much as possible during the week of it's release to avoid any possible spoilers.

I'm not to miffed when I get it, because I realise I'm going to play it to death anyway, so it doesn't really matter when I actually start playing it.

if the wal mart here actually gets it day one i will. but i know my wal mart, it sucks ass and we never get shit on time. So it will be like a week later. The only game i can think of that we actually got on the right day was Halo3 :D

I really could never see the fuss of PS3 price. I think it is very reasonable...in fact, I find it to be a rather great deal.

I sold my ps3 and $900 worth of hardware for $250...shoulda posted it on here and got a better price.

But anyway, it has already dropped in price once, I don't see any reason for it to drop again.

Besides, now that HD-DVDs have dropped out, I'm sure more people will be buying the PS3 for blue ray. So at the moment there is no reason to drop the price because it is in demand anyway. Its either that or nothing.

I'm gonna get me a PS3 soon anyways, so I'll probably play it on the day of release. Unless I can't get a copy of course. :(
