Title: I...

shiver_motion - February 23, 2008 08:28 AM (GMT)
broke up with my girlfriend. i feel really indifferent about it which is the scary thing. its the classic tale of college breaking a couple up. idk thought i let it out. i hear its healthy to do that kind of thing. we dated for 2 and a half years.

Shit man, 2+1/2? why you break up?

Johnyman - February 23, 2008 09:52 AM (GMT)
That's a bummer, spending so much precious time with her and then she leaves you and you don't even give damn about it. A bit cold, but that's just my opinion.

He's right, it's really cold. Have you done something stupid?

A quick look at your profiles and I can see why you think it's cold. If you've never experienced, or even witnessed, the toll that the jump from high-school to college (university) takes on relationships, it's hard to fathom how quickly relationships become meaningless.

It's a bit hard to describe in full, as I'm pressed for time, but the gist would be the "more fish in the sea" standby, and even if you're at the same school, it's hard to not be swayed away by the prospect of someone completely different and new.

That's my two cents, anyway.

Personally, I think it might not of sunk in yet possibly?

shiver_motion - February 23, 2008 11:50 PM (GMT)
Yeah quite possibly its because it hasnt sunk in yet. We discussed breaking up or "going on break" for a bit. But personally i never planned on following trhough with it. Then yesterday I told her that Iwasnt sure, but she was. Her side was that we both need time to "Grow Up". Which to a certain degree i understand but I felt more a nd more detached from her, because she kept hanging out and talking about her "new friends". idk i havent cried or anything... just a splitting headache.

Life is short...find another woman fast! Lol. But seriously...you got plenty of time.

You've already got a thread in here about this. Don't clutter up my section with more of this crap.
