how do u join a group????

Um.. what do you mean by "group"? Do you mean a clan on MPO+, or are you not even talking about MPO+? How about you explain what symbol you are talking about.
Are you talking about the organizations that people are in? Such as I have a TSF button? That would have nothing to do with Portable Ops and should be in the Help Desk. Anyways, they are organizations that people join. Down below it says Org Recruitment and Org Chat. You can go into those forums to see the rules about the orgs and how they run.

Anyway, you need to apply for one of the orgs in the org recruitment forum. If your chosen org accepts you, you will be put in their group and have your own button and access to their private forum. It's all in the Org Recruitment.
