I don't know about you but when you have to mash the o button repeatably when ocelot is torturing you sucks. Did this happen with anyone else? I mean i was actually doing it so hard i almost past out cause of my blood pressure.

Haha, sorry to tell you man, but I got nowhere near fainting. I remember it as being very tough, but I went back recently and it was a breeze for me, actually. I was only playing on normal, maybe that's the difference?

Hard isn't needed, just speed is necessary, a moderate speed to regain life. Better luck next time man, and watch it, if you're going that hard and are about to pass out, I suggest letting Ocelot have his little victory. :P Maybe work on your button mashing, sounds like a weird experience you had.

well maybe i was over exadirorating a little bit but it was tougher than the first time i did it.

Surviving the torture on Extreme made my arm sore.... but faint? Hmm. No, no not me. :-D

I have never had a problem on any mode or game for that.. i do remember friend did.. so I know someone who almost did but that was because he was rolling around on the floor and moving all over the place. to tell you, it was funny as hell.

Haha when i do the toture scene im usually spraled over my couch not even looking at the screen trying as hard as i can to beat the mother fucker and i usually i cant even do it. And im left handed so my left thumb us alot faster and i have to hold the controller in this weird decrepit rigamortas fashion which sucks.

It wasn't too hard surviving it,but my finger almost broke.
Making it twitch at high speeds is a good trick.

And I got the stealth camo, so it was easy to play through again to see the different ending ^_^

To be honest, I had a terrible arm ache first time I managed to get through both torture sequences. But on Twin Snakes, I used the auto-mash thingy, with no problems/ consequences.

For the most recent play through, sorta. I was only expecting Ocelot to put me through 3 electric shocks, I didn't even see the 4th longer one coming. After playing games like RE4 and God of War with those button mashing cutscenes it got easier though.

While RE4 was good, the button mashing sequences weren't as frustrating as MGS. Besides, at least RE4 gave you a long break between the sequences rather than screw you 4 times, lock you up, then screw you another 4 times before ejacuting left, right and center...

Plus Snake sounded like he was having a huge orgy...a manly, testosterone orgy...

Well, practice makes perfect. My older brother is good at it, but that could be due to the fact that I am 14 and he is in his twenties. Perhaps it is easier with developed muscles...

I dont find it that hard. I punch the button pretty fast so I dont have any problems.
Althought my blood pressure and adrenaline is a little bit high when I play this part.
Dont take it too hard.

for me it wasn't to hard passing the torture,only when you move up the difficulty levels it gets a little harder but after playing through the game a bunch of times I'm kinda used to it
