So, anyone still enjoy playing this? I do. I played it at my mates house last week, great fun. Such an urge to shout at the screen when getting headshots.

Gears was awesome,it had everything it needed to be a top notch TPS.
Gears 2 will have some new added technology,such as:
Being able to render hundreds and hundreds of on-screen objects without a heavy performance impact;
Fully destructable environments;
New lighting and shadowing system;

I hope we finally find out what the hell happens to Marcus and his homies'.

I keep hearing news of GOW2 coming out on PS3, is there any truth to this? If not I think Sony should ask for it in that deal there doing with Microsoft about MS switching to Blu-Ray.

For now,no news for a PS3 version has been stated from Epic Games.
But it wouldn't surprise me.

GoW is my favorite shooter for the 360 and the best online game for the 360 too. This is still the game I play most online, its just so fun. The control system works so well (The A button pretty much does everything) and I'm all for having pressing the L button to aim. Whipping out the sniper and getting a headshot or an active reload and then shoot them so they go down and then running over to them to taunt them is such a good feeling. Not to mention how awesome the chainsaw and shotgun is.

I just hope they don't screw up Gear 2.

On a serious note, that would be totally awesome but also truly terrible for it would cause the rumors of MGS 4 on 360 to pop up again.

For GeOW2 I kind of wish they had ditched the Fenix character, he's just a lump of muscle.

By the time GOW2 is out everyone who cares about MGS4 would have completed it or at least seen the cutscenes so if MGS4 was to even be released on the 360 in November It wouldn't do aswell as the PS3 version. But anyway lets not talk of fiction. It's more likely GOW2 would come out on PS3 than MGS4 on 360. Plus those fucks at MS bought out too many exclusives as it is.

I'll admit I liked GOW. But it wasn't as hard as I had hoped and after two times through I couldn't find much value in playing again. Part two would surely be worth a pick up though. I just won't make the stupid mistake I did with the first...I spent $100 on the special edition and a few weeks later sold it for 20...

What a game this is! only game i loved on my 360, its just a shame my 360 broke down, i'd be willing to buy a new one just to play this online again as it never gets boring! infact i might even get a 360 just to play number 2

Great Graphics, Great Gameplay... but for some reason I can't explain, I play for about 30 minutes and I feel like playing something else.

Never finished the game, I just quit playing on the last level, the train.
