Well, I love both of these games.
The gameplay, the graphic's, the humour, storyline's etc etc

But, Its hard to say which one is my favourite..

Which Game do you prefer and why?

This should be a poll, but i am going with ratchet & clank, more fun memories with those two

I'll have to say Ratchet and Clank because I haven't played Jak & Daxter.

Played both. I reckon Ratchet and Clank has more lasting appeal though. Especially the new one.

Ratchet and Clank is better in my opinion.
It's just got better atmosphere,and looks better.

Neither can ever come close to Crash Bandicoot.

But I would choose Ratchet and Clank over Jak and Daxter. Because I've never played Jak and Daxter.

Out of all the Ratchet and Clank plus all the Jak and Daxter games out there, the best game by far is the first Jak and Daxter. For that, my choice has to be Jak and Daxter. That game is a mile above the rest of 'em.

well i'd say jak and daxter, IF they never brought out Jak X ro whatever the racing one was... seemed like a cheap cash in too me...

anyway, ratchet and clank all the way on the humour,
daxter pretty much done all the funny stuff, but there's a whole range of characters on ratchet and clank that are throwing the funnies in,
my favourite part in number 1 was after you've defeated captian quark (spelt right?)
and you then meet him on a diff world selling something
"i garantee that this will work or my name isn't captain qu...... steve..."

I've played and loved each of the games, both classics for their time.

I'm going to have to choose Ratchet and Clank. They brought me into a diverse world of gaming. They started it all for me, so I choose them.

The only Jak game I liked was Jak 1. They lost me with the 2nd one. The only Ratchet game I played was the PS3 one nad absolutely love it

I just about gave Ratchet the vote here, although I love Jak also. I don't know why, perhaps it was all the skill points to find, all those weapon upgrades. I was a fan of Crash and Spyro before I got a PS2, and then followed Naughty Dog and Insomniac into Jak and Ratchet. I used to be a Crash speedrunner, you could say, when I was 10-12, so I got into Jak first.
I think I preferred Jak 2 and 3 to the first game, there was more to do. I remember just flying around Haven City, very happy. :D

But I would go for Ratchet, I have spent such a long time on those games, and I have enjoyed every single minute, deciding which planet to go, where to earn some money for the next weapon. I deleted all my save games so I could start again from the beginning, I have to give that a go.
Some of my best times playing R&C was hunting for crystals in the desert in R&C 2, I loved that.

jak and daxter own ratchet and clank. i felt that Rachet and Clank were a rip off of Jak and daxter, in fact i heard that the company said that this was true

Considering Ratchet and clank was released a month earlier than Jak and daxter? And why on earth would Naughty dog (being the company) say that there own game was a rip off of something else?

Ratchet and clank in my opinion is nowhere as good as jak and daxter. Jak and daxter:better story,more challenging,and i know a lot of you guys will disagree with this but I think that jak and daxter has cooler guns too.

I love the story of Jak and Daxter, I prefer it to ratchet and clanks, And if we're going to talk about weapons, i will have to go with the weapon set in Jak3, Supanova ^_^

I would say Jak and Daxter only because its the first game I got for the PS2 (along with MGS2) and its just an its a classic for me. I love Ratchet and Clank too but J&D is just kick ass.

Now im gonna have to play it when i get home..
