Description: PC or Xbox

I have a problem. I own Star Wars KOTOR 1&2 for PC, except my PC and Laptop are too shitty to run them. The game keeps crashing. I can only get as far as the end of Taris on KOTOR, and I can only get as far as creating my character on KOTOR2. It's really annoying. So, I wanted some opinions. Should I get KOTOR 1&2 on PC or on Xbox, bearing in mind I would have to buy a new laptop to play the PC version or I would have to buy an Xbox console, controller and both games to play the Xbox version.

I would buy a regular Xbox those go for around $100 or less if it is used then buy the controllers which isnt expensive.

Xbox.
You can find one on eBay for about £50 nowadays, plus the PC version has a lot of problems such as glitches. However on the flip side the PC version does have the customization (i.e. changing the program files so that rather than seeing Darth Malak you get Darth Maul etc). But I still say Xbox.

PC. The bugs have all been fixed and the game runs much better on PC than on consoles.

Update: I got KOTOR working after I turned Shadows and Grass off, and I have now completed it after 22 hours of gameplay. Great story with a great ending and a great last duel with Malak.
But KOTOR 2 still doesn't work? Anybody got any hints or tips that I could try to see if it will work?

I played the first KOTOR on a shitty comp too and shadows and grass really makes the difference between it running terribly and smoothly. Was a great game.
I never got KOTOR 2 work properly either.. But back then it was full of bugs.
