I just saw 1408 and..... it was greater than I thought it would be.
It's a new movie from last year (suprised no one has made a topic yet).
It stars John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson, but mostly it's just John Cusack on screen.
Mike Ensling (Cusack) is a fairly know author as a man who visits places, that is said to be haunted and writes and publishes his thoughts about them. He doesn't really believe in the supernatural, but he thinks it could be fun, to one day, meet a real ghost.
When he checks in to room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel in New York, he is as sceptical as ever until....
Well don't want to spoil anything so you have to the movie.
Personally, i thought the movie sucked. It was no better than all the other horror movies ive seen since like 2003. It had a pretty damn good idea for a horror flick dont get me wrong but i just couldnt find the horror in it. I kept waiting and waiting for something to actually frighten me and well, that never came. It could have been better is all im saying. The holographic ghosts were well, dumb.
