Hey guys, I have a question for you. It's rather urgent, and important. I was playing Socom Combined Assault online with my friend today. (He only has a PS2 and that's the only game we can play together). Anyways, I was on my PS3 and we were in this one room. This guy kept glitching and killing us. Needless to say, we went to a different room, when "bam" both our Playstations freeze simultaneously. I was talking to him on the phone thats how I know.

Anyways, here's the question. I assume that it was this guy that was glitching and using codes on us that did this. Is there any way to know if he hacked into our systems? Could he destroy our hard drives or ruin our systems in any way? I'd really like to know before my 500$ system is shot. I turned off the system and took out the game right away, because I didn't know what else to do. I need some help guys.

no, he just froze your account and network, you should be fine in no time.

faggots freeze me all the time on psp or ps2, no serious damage is done, just the irritation of knowing some asshole can do that to me is all.

What? I thought this was apparent only with PC users. Looks like they've spread on to console users as well. Don't know how to deal with these console specific issues, you can try contacting Sony. If not,just wait until it blows over.

Report them too and see if Sony do anything about it, but again - given the vast number of users, you will have to hope they might.

Damn I hate glitchers.

It just ruins the game for everyone, the glitcher included - there no entertainment if theres no challenge.

And there are so many glitches in games that are easy to do. There is a shedload in GoW.
