Man oh man, is it odd that this video got me more hyped about MGS4 than most of the trailers ?

Everything just seems so intense. I love the constant shouting and yelling, hopefully that won't get too repetitive in game.

But yeah, cannot wait.

its a cathedral they are everywhere throughout Europa and some other continents but that is probably European as we know we definitely going there. look up cathedrals in eastern European countries and maybe youll find this one lol.

I must say, my friends, that the gameplay footage in that trailer looked unbelievably magnificent. I get more excited for this game every day. It looks so much more brutal than previous MGS games. Fighting and murder occur all around Snake, giving the game a certain emotion, showing Snake's struggles. He is battling to prevent it, and has done so on numerous occasions. And yet, there is still one last battle he must endure. One last pain. It is extremely poetic, and one of the greatest storylines of gaming history.

I love how Snake was like "fuck these rags, I'm Solid Snake godammit" at the end.
The gameplay was amazing I can't believe it's actually that good, the Gekko's look vicious, it's gonna be like an agent in the Matrix. "When you see a Gekko run! Thats as big as any other trailer, no April fools if you ask me, that was more like an easter gift with a nice "easter egg" of the Altair skin. :lol: :D B)

The gameplay looks superb. Those Gekkos have me so excited, I think I'll need to whip out the old time machine and travel to the future to play MGS4. And in response to another post, I don't mind constant shouting, as long as it is not the same shout each time. It has to feel like war.

Having played Assassins Creed, I know what your getting at. The sound in that game was very repetitive and annoying.

MGS4 seems to have much more variety though, and the pacing alone ought to quell your fear. Sometimes hes in the middle of a heated battle, sometimes things are quiet an d hes just sneaking through. Explosions, cows mooing, tons of soldier dialog, occasional atmospheric music... MGS4 is all about sound, plenty of it due to 50gigs of blu-ray space.

That looks like one of the actual castles in Assassins creed.

Now that might be the European location, but take into account that this is is still an April Fools joke. In the Acre Rich District of Assassins Creed there is a massive cathedral that looks very similar to the one presented in that pic, so I think that it's just a joke part of it, taking that part of Assassins Creed and inserting a helicopter in a spoof manner.

Of course that might be our first real look at the European location and considering we meet EVA (presumably) for the first time in a cathedral it does seem likely, but consider the context of the trailer before jumping to conclusions.

This is St Patricks cathedral, New York... look familiar? thats cus it appears in a pic in the end sequance of MGS2... meaning the developers have definatly been there (see there trip to new york on the dvd that came with the european version of MGS2)

Oh boy i hope that costume will actually be in the game. This is really cool to see ubi mix with konami, could we see more stuff to come from the two companies? We'll see....

Made me very pumped. I'd love to see that as a costume in MGS. And I like the seamless cuts between Cutscenes and gameplay. and HELL YEAH, GEKKO GAMEPLAY. I love this.

I think that was a cool joke for the whole Altair thing,But im not so sure aobut making it kinda like an easter egg......I already thought it was extrememe to whip out so random character called Raiden i nthe 2nd game so i dont think Kojima would go to the extreme to randomly put characterfrom another game into his.....(NOT LIKE IM HOPING IT WONT HAPPEN :lol: I want it to)....But on the other hand,its not like Kojima would do a dirty trick like that by giving us hope and Ripping it away from us easily,thast not like him.......But if this was a legit April fools joke by Kojima himself,he would probably put this in the game,maybe make it hard to get...like the frog camo in MGS3 or something....How do you tihnk we could get it???
