im not too keen on the new guitar hero im just waiting for Rock Band (made by the real Guitar Hero people) to arrive whenever that is. then i saw this and thought "SWEET" looks interesting and give me an excuse to use the DS more though its not out 'til June and ill be busy with MGS4 then. i guess it will come in handy during my travels throughout the summer.
looks like you get to strum using the touch screen and only 4 buttons is good cause i could never get used to pressing the 5th very well.

Will Rock Band be compatible with the Guitar Hero guitar if anyone knows?

no they wont, Activision refused to accept the software patch update that EA/Harmonix put out to fix compatibility issues, that was a few months ago im not sure if anything has changed since then.
that is why im waiting for RockBand because the guitars are better.

Actually the guitar sucks.
The strum bar is really stiff and unresponsive, I've played six different versions of imported copies and all the guitars have had this problem, compared to the GH controller the Rock Band guitar is unusable.

im sure by the time its release here in the UK they'll have sorted those problems out as well as releasing individual instruments, at least thats what they said they were going to do.
i just wana use those solo buttons, solos are soo ridiculous in Guitar Hero 3 its really hard to get them right with those massive clunky buttons so high up, and i have small hands so that doesnt help lol.

The solo buttons wont work as well as you think, they are really small and imo it's easier with GH3 guitar. Im looking forward for this GH, but it better have good songs like the others.

i have small fingers! and i broke my "pinky" when i was a wee child its crooked so its hard for me to stretch properly it causes RSI too quickly for me. this was a problem for playing a "real" guitar as i tend to just use 3 fingers on the frets lol

looks like shit,you only get 4 fret buttons,it's much more fun to have all 5,the graphics don't look all that great either,using the guitar is way better,it looks like it would be really stupid and annoying using the ds for that anyway,besides,there aren't any reasons for me to get a ds in the 1st place
