I'm not sure how to connect a sound system to a ps3. I want to have true surround and best quality possible.

From what i've read you have to connect and HDMI cable from your ps3 to the TV and then another HDMI cablr from your ps3 to the sound system.
BUT the ps3 has only 1 HDMI port so i think i didn't understand excatly what i've read.

So can you tell me what to do excatly to connect your ps3 to a sound system with the best quality possible. And what are the best money for quality systems available?
I was considering this even if it is a little bit expensive.
